Just wanted to ask fellow ego-t users if dark colored e-liquids would affect the performance and longevity of an ego-t atomizer?Asking since I really want to get some Black Jack Milds from DIYflavorshack.com

With my eGo-T, I've found that it eats some juices alive. It would cost a fortune to vape one of these juices in an eGo-T. On the other hand, it does a good job with thicker juices, I think. Maybe cause there is no polyfill. One example is TW's Decadent Doppio Espresso. It is so thick the label says it will gel at cool temperatures. It's got all this stuff in it that separates from the rest of the juice. But it is really, really good juice. It works in my eGo-T, but I can even get it to flow into my cartomizer. Based on my experience, it's another reason for using more than one type of ecig. I do wait for the day when my "coffee" will be hot in the morning. Until the eGo-T heat problems are solved, I just have to imagine I'm vaping some sissy coffee drink from Starbucks :)

After the first two or three weeks, I got tired of having to clean my atty every other day. Otherwise they would clog up. So I've transitioned to light and/or clear juices only for the Tanks. I save my darker juices for dripping in my Mega. I agree with WDAVE, the Tank atties seem to chugga lug thinner liquids (unfortunately, they're the ones that make the most flavor.) I was going through too much juice, so I've resumed dripping as a mainstay and use the Tanks primarily for driving.

When I first got my Ego-T, I was using dark, coffee flavored juice. Killed the first atty in 2 weeks, killed the replacement atty in 2 days. Since then, only lighter, clear juices go in the tank. And so far it has worked.

Some juices are more difficult than others. I try to pump Doppio Espresso in my cartomizer and it breaks the seal between the carto and battery connector.

One of the biggest problems with vaping is DOA hardware. Or the hardware is just plain junk and was never meant to work right in the first place. Better to blame the hardware than the juice. I do appreciate your observation and will keep it mind.

I have been using tanks since Jan. I only had one atty die after a month. I vape either 50/50 or 70vg/30pg juice and have never had a leak. I get pretty good flavor, I vape light and dark juices and never noticed a difference. I have cleaned my attys twice so far once with distilled water and once with denture tabs. I perfer the denture tabs quick and easy

That's a lot for everyone's feedback!

I definitely agree with you. The Black Jack Mild is the MOST expensive juice that I ever thought of getting and so I don't wanna waste more money than I have to. Although, I might play with the PG/VG mix, probably 70/30 or a 50/50. Also, it might be a little while before I decide to get the Big Kazoo I wanted. Might have to wait until I get that before I get this juice. Not sure yet though.

I used tasty vapor tobacco in two of mine and within a week it was clogged couldn't get nothing out...but with dekang menthol it didn't clog as fast

I haven't had a clogging problem yet. Probably because I'm only using Dekang juices in one atty while using some good prophets vg liquid in other atty. Probably gonna keep that in mind when the times comes to clean it.

Really appreciate the tips that you have stated. When I order this juice I'm definitely gonna request it being either 70/30 or 50/50. Also never read anyone talking about using the denture tabs but will try it out!
