That's the one thing I have learned with NT joose...if at first they don't hit....let em sleep for a bit. ;)

Agreed, please don't trade anything less than three months old!
Erm..unless it's something I want and can't get!

Tasting Switch for first time. More later.

It does smell a lot like tribeca... but the taste is a lot bolder, which I like. Besides, Tribeca burns/scorches at at like 9 watts, while this stuff rocks on with a fresh battery with a 0.5 ohm coil - 30+ watts... I'm definitely having a hard time putting this one down... its just got a nice bite to it that gets kinda grabs hold... its got a lot of character... definitely could see it taming down, but I like it as is... the first puff really took me by surprise, I wasn't expecting it.

This is my first time trying a NET/hyrbid... but let me say, if eliquid had a category for IPA like beer does, this would be it, lol...
(sorry for the beer reference)...just thought it would help describe it at the moment...

It is not the Virus or even in the same flavor profile. It is hard for me to pick out the flavor profiles on a tobacco as well but what I do get is like a puff on an unlit cigarette. I don't get the licorice or the floral note. I know the NET well and I know it is good fresh and gets better with age. All tobaccos, whether synthetic or NET, take time to meld. What you taste one week might not be there the next. Some people like them fresh, others like at least a 3 week steep. Today I mixed a synthetic tobacco blend and love it fresh. 3 weeks down the road I may think it sucks, although usually tobaccos get better with time, not worse. They tame. I think switch has a combo of NET and synthetic which will take time to calm down. I get the synthetic full face, and a touch of NET at the end. The NET is the earthy taste people are getting. No pine in that NET, I can assure you of that. Those flavors will balance in time so I advice you to sit on the bottle and try it in a few weeks if you aren't liking what you are getting now.

It's flavored for the resting state, which should take 2-4 weeks... but I LOVE it fresh... like, omg love. YMMV obviously.

For comparison I love Radio and ACB (is there anyone that doesn't love this nectar?!?)
Roundhouse I like a lot, but I can't vape too much at once.
Wakonda is just pretty good to me.
Virus is too sweet/too flavorful, but I dig it mixed with CLS.

Fresh.
.4ohm dual coils on a quasar, rayon
20-30 watts on vaporshark DNA
Batteries finally charged and rested running on the Morpheus

20-30 watts I got a lot more of the piney/resiny flavor people are mentioning. I wasn't too sure if I liked it...but also couldn't put it down.

Fully charged batts on the Morpheus, that's what 40ish watts.
 :vapor:
Wow. What a Turkish Gold dreams it tastes like. Definitely tobacco. If Radio tastes woody, Switch tastes green to me. Different than floral, more resiny. Soooo smooth. That green/resiny taste along with a slight sweet that is different than other NT juices in a way I cannot describe, plus smokey lingers on the tongue.

I dig it. It's not going in the reo for tomorrow, but I'm sure it will be visited nightly.
Excited to see how it matures.

Just like The Virus - the TA fades and the NET emerges.

Interesting perspective! I, too, am curious to hear thoughts in 2-3-4 weeks!!

Glad to see another + review.... Although most of the negatives are from people that are big time into bakery... I LOVE the bakery stuff too, but not ADV for me... Actually haven't really found an ADV yet... I think ACB is, but letting it steep.... Wakonda is closest yet... Love the rest, just in moderation, gotta rotate.. Really hoping this is the one, to fill that hole in my lineup I need.
While I like the bakery flavors, they're not my favorites/ADVs. Virus is my ADV, with Wakonda and Home Slice occupying the next spots (I guess HS could be considered a semi-bakery flavor).

I'll agree with Gota that the flavor profile of Switch is definitely nothing like the Virus. I'm a little over 24 hours into the Switch now (on my second bottle in the REO), and while I'm still getting a slight anise/licorice taste, it's starting to subside and I'm getting more of a spicy tobacco flavor - starting to see where the cigar comparisons come from.

I wouldn't consider mine a negative review because I don't dislike it at all. It's a strange one for me - the taste isn't blowing my mind, but I can't seem to put it down because it's intriguing me! If a juice doesn't hit for me, I usually put it away for a few weeks and then revisit it to see if it's changed for the better. Can't do that with the Switch, it's one that I'm going to treat like the Virus - vape the hell out of it, ride the changes and see where it goes! The NET in the Virus is a wonderful magical mystery tour as it ages, so this will be an interesting joyride if the NET in it behaves similarly.

I'm sitting here now about half nic-sick...vaping it, tasting it, contemplating it, over and over again, and just can't seem to stop. I have to say that while it's not my favorite (at least not yet), it's definitely the most complex and intriguing (sorry for using that word again, but it's true!) juice I've tasted yet from Nicoticket. It's compelling in a way I've never experienced before. Clark definitely unleashed some weird voodoo magic in this one!

Both contain NET, but the NET employed in The Switch isn't of my making - and it's much more prevalent as compared to previous offerings... I don't know any other way to describe it except as being "smokey" and "earthy" - like if I could taste fresh tobacco leaves. Roundhouse has a much more dominant floral note... I think there is a very faint one with The Switch - I don't notice it, but Katy did when it was 24 hours fresh. The only liquid I can really compare it to is Tribeca, but even that's not a fair comparison. Again, I find tobaccos notoriously hard to describe... but I can say I don't get the licorice thing (well, maybe, but it's kind of a reach for me personally).

i'd compare it to bionic vapor's countryside.

Bump your watts down to around 10-ish, the licorice taste will show. Gone at 15.
I get the piney woodsy thing, I also get the clove someone mentioned, and a little tartness similar to gravity, would almost accuse you of adding a drop or two in there. It is good right now, but not in the league of steeped Virus (in a league of its own). I expect, though, once it settles down, it'll become yet another epic NT juice.
I ain't trading mine . . .

As a general rule, most tobaccos continue to develop for 4-6 weeks. I'm hitting it fresh though - I love the stuff, honestly. Sounds like I missed for a few folks, which I always get down about, but hey - happens. I kinda regret the above post suggesting you run straight to the swap meet (because you might regret it... although it's an option if you are confident it will never come around for you)... tobacco is tobacco... they take time to round out.

Good advice! I'm gonna take it off the swap and let it sit a bit! Thanks Clark!

So I have tried this...my thoughts are interesting...not a tobacco person so I believe...I at this time do not like it in my Tobh...too harsh as I lung hit on it...strong flavors...not sure if there was residue from the rainier cherry, though i did rewick...but i seemed to get that slight flavor in the backround, flavors were strong in the Tobh...tried it in the REO with the RM2 and the flavoring was less but still tasted the same...i think i might like it lol....gonna have to rest it though, as young juice tears up my mouth...Ill try it again in a couple weeks as it has aged to see how it is :)

Like i said I think i like it but will need to try it again later to be sure haha

Used:
Tobh 1.3ohm @ 4volts on a provari
REO RM2 1.3ohm

i'm loving reading peoples reactions to this i feel like the familys collective reaction will decide its fate how often itcomes back around etc

taste is so subjective and its amazing to see the different thoughts people have and as i read them and try to find the notes others find its fun sometimes i can pick up on something i didnt without the forethought

day 2 with my switch it is amazing :) looks like there's a good few misses out there, but i'm confident enough people will love this to keep it coming back :)

i still cant decide if i really like it or not.. but that doesnt stop me from loading it up over and over to keep the debate going. there is a lot going on with this one, and it sounds like there will only be more going on in the future as it steeps and the NET develops.

when was it made initially? obviously I know when my bottle was born.. but when was it originally created? normally i just hop on NT and see, but its back off the site...

i'd like to add a question to that one...clark do you actually know how this one plays out, have you tasted it steeped? or are you along for the ride with us on this one?
