Dark vs. light liquid leakage

Maybe this has been discussed to death already, but searching for it has already cost me a lot of time.

Short version:
Dark liquids always leak, light don't.

I've been vaping for close to 10 years now. Haven't been so much into the technical details. Have used three kinds of devices, started with a cheap vaping "pen" (refillable, recoilable) for a few years, switched to iStick Pico for a few years more, then lately a Vaporesso XROS Pro, just to see if this issue would go away.

All of them had the same issue. Whenever I use a dark vaping liquid (like vanilla, banana, tobacco), they all just leak like hell - unusable. I fill up, then a half-hour later I find that most of the liquid has leaked out (without using it). Into my jacket, trousers, on my table.

If I use a light-colored liquid like strawberry, this never happens.

Across my 3 different devices, this has been universal.

Seems like I've been using sub-ohm coils all the time - not that I think it matters, since the leakage occurs when not using it.

Looking at the bottles I have now, both light and dark, they say "70 PG", and they are the ones I've been using all along.

I'm not sure it's supposed to be like this?

Interesting... Sounds like it is some sort of Quantum Chroma-Viscosity Duality. Or QCVD for short.

A shame that Richard Feynman isn't with us anymore. This is the type of thing He would Love to Figure Out.

IMO, the main thing is that you are going for flavor (high PG) like I do. Most juices these days are on the other end of the spectrum (that % vg) and that seems to be what a lot of atomizers are designed for. We both have to live with thin juice that will leak if it can.

Honestly, I've never seen a difference between light and dark, but I have run across some devices which will simply not work with high PG. I'm not totally familiar with your gear but suspecting they use pods. Not much you can do about that. The only prebuilts or pods I use without problems are the Nautilus coil, Lost Vape Orion coils, and Umbrella Mods VII atomizer coils.

Sorry for no solution, but maybe an explanation.
