My Wife is happy I am vaping, her my one puff wonder. She can smoke just a couple of puffs on an analog and put it out. She's also pretty good at cold turkey. She recently started full boar smoking when I was gone for a couple of weeks and there was a stressful sitch. I had some 0 and low Nic and I had her try it.. on my KGO she started hacking and said it was too strong... on the Greensmoke... she has tried it some but I can tell she is VERY leery of it.

If someone has been opposed and you really like them, hit the bathroom :)

I was in Texas for a week, vaped outside at a hockey game and do you know that after four games, only one person asked?!? That was a Security Guard, reminding me I couldn't vape inside for the most part... I was like uh Hello... do you see me outside. I noticed one big issue from that though.... I stank of smoke from the other smokers!?! I had to convince my Sister... "No, Seriously! I was just vaping"!!!!

My new guy never smoked. He gave me a heck of a time about quitting smoking since I was still switching between analogs and my PV. Now that I'm exclusively vaping, he's still giving me a hard time to quit that too. Makes me nuts!
People who have never tried to kick a bad habit don't understand the significance of the switch from analogs to vaping. They still see it as a negative thing.
Show them some research about how vaping is so much better than analogs. That's the only thing I can think of.

When me and my fiance started dating it was long distance, she knew I smoked and even put up with it during our rare visits. Then I found out she was horribly allergic to cig smoke and decided to quit. I made the switch to PVs and she loves it, especially now that I moved closer and we see each other almost daily. I even get more kisses when I vape certain flavors since she can taste the vape flavor as well.:vapor:

It's been around 10 years since I was dating and then I smoked. I would think that vaping would widen the pool of potential candidates and weed out some of the ones I wouldn't be interested in anyway. If they object to something as innocuous as vaping, what are they going to think about my numerous other eccentricities? I'm afraid that would turn me away.

As far as smoking women smelling bad, I don't see vaping being worse for that than not smoking at all.

I agree SunnyMoon, I started on Greensmoke which was fine for at first I guess, if you were a light smoker I think it's a decent product. I found this board and was recommended a KGO which I had shipped to Texas to my Sister's house where I was going. I started vaping it, and my Sister an AVID non-smoker says, "You're going to have to smoke that outside, I smell the smoke". I reminded her it was vaping and not smoking, but really? Do you think she could? I don't...
She was happy I was vaping instead of smoking and when she picked me up at the airport with my Greensmoke I was out puffing away... this is sad but cute. She said that the dread set in that she was going to have to hug me and I would reek.. she was so happy not to have that old stale stench smell and was pleasantly surprised! I don't know what she smelled when I was vaping in the house.... but going outside was a trigger for analogs...

I have been under 5, then 3 analogs a day for a month. Yesterday one, and today none..... This board makes you want to just vape and not analog :) Congratulations to you and all.

My girlfriend was never a smoker and I got her into vaping just because she wanted to learn how to make the infamous "O" and because she likes the taste of Hazelnut. Thank goodness she understands my need to spend money on PVs and different flavors. :D

Definitely misread this one at first.... she was looking for SMOKE RINGS... gotcha

I'm very glad my wife is very supportive of my vaping. I had quit cigs about 2 years before we wed and I was closet smoking because I eventually relapsed but hid it from my soon to be wife. I confessed before our wedding day as I certainly didnt want to go in with skeletons in the closet. Turns out she had some confessions of her own and it turned out to be a very intense and bonding moment for us. But I digress. E-cigs really saved me from her wrath as now I can get my nic fix and not smell/taste like a dirty ash tray. She has never smoked and I still dont know how she managed to get past that for all the years we were dating.

My girlfriend totally understands the concept of vaping and 100% supports me doing it. When we first started dating I was a 2PAD smoker and hid it from her really well until about 6 months in when I decided (like a .....) that it was ok to smoke in front of her. I remember when she wouldn't want to see me sometimes because I reeked of analogs.

I picked up my first crappy starter kit with her and she immediately fell in love with the idea that I wouldn't smell bad anymore. And here I am now a year later with a giant pipe bomb looking PV and her smiling every time I use it, and every time I tally up another day that I'm analog free.

Some people will accept it easily, some won't, pretty simple. I just started the journey with her in mind so she gladly supports my habit.
