The Ego or maybe, just maybe, the kr808 and l88r.
I only say that because its the normal "gas station" ecig I see around here and if they have enough of those out there it probably outsells an internet only Ego (and its clones).

I would love to find some numbers from china, Blu has probably sold more units than every U.S. mod maker combined has ever made, they report having 10,000 retail locations, even if each location just sold 2 it would probably out number ever SB, GG, Provari, Darwin, GLV, Reo, and Buzz sold.

Doesn't make them great to use just popular.

Most definitely the eGo (and clones) has been the most popular, and probably successful, e-cig to date. When I first tried vaping, there was no eGo and only a couple mods (the Screwdriver). Comparatively speaking, vape was so poor I went back to cigs. The eGo has definitely spawned a tenfold in successful quit stories.

Really, on here the most popular is probably the eGo. That doesn't mean it's the best which is a totally subjective evaluation. That said, I'm pretty sure the people on this forum represent less than half of the PVs sold. My guess is that many more crappy kits are sold at mall kiosks than on here. Those will probably be at best KR808-D2s which aren't all that great. One can always hope that it's a KR808-D1 or 510 though.

i like notcigs buzz pro, works great battery lasts 10-12 hours its inexpensive for a vv too...if i was on a budget id forget abou an ego thogh their not reliable i had battery failures within the first two days with my first kit eventually after switching to a mod my ego battery charger failed, anyway madvapes has a bunch of cheap box mods and even a vv box mod for like 30 bucks with acouple 14500 batteries charger and a few dual coil cartomizers your looking at the same price tag as an ego but twice the power

I would consider 'most popular' as the PV that folk are satisfied with, replace as needed and would recommend to others. So, to me, global volume is not a true indicator of popularity nor 'bakky secession success rates.

I still go with the eGo...

Since most of us had no problems spending all kinds of dollars on analogs we shouldn't be too concerned about price when it comes to our PV. Unfortunately it does and most people go for the cheapest product that works ok to get started with. This the Ego is good for, a stepping stone.

Compared with all the different mods out there now the Ego is not that good PV. Sure it does the job it just doesn't do it well. If I'm going to suck on something 500 + times a day I better be in love with it and I don't care what it cost if it is at least in the ballpark I was spending before on analogs.

So popular means nothing to me at all, but best imo... the Reo Grand for fixed voltage or Darwin for VV both in terms of quality, customer service and options. I have not tried all the mods out there so there may be others but those 2 ended the search for another one for me.
