Got my Davide Mini today. First impressions:

The build quality seems fine. Everything is well made and fits together.

There are too many parts. All the threads spin the same way, so when you try to take one piece off, all the others want to unscrew with it. You need to hold the right part when trying to remove another one. Just a minor learning curve.

The rubber o-rings on the center stem slide right off and they are impossible for a grown man's fingers to put back on.

The mouth end of the drip tip is a bit "petite" for my liking.

Looks good on a Twist/Spinner, but its weight makes your rig top-heavy.

The vape is airy to me. There's no "feel" to it - sound, warmth, draw resistance. I like to have some feedback on my inhale. The only way I even knew the thing was working was the sight of vapor on my exhale. Almost no throat hit with 18mg. I need to feel like I'm vaping, and this just didn't do it for me.

The flavor was there, but predictably muted.

I keep chasing the same feel of a carto tank, and this didn't do it.

I can see why many people will like it. I would choose it over an Evod or Nova; someone like my wife who likes that light and easy draw will use it and it will get the job done.

If you like carto tanks like me, then you may want to pass on the Davide Mini.

I discovered that my first cleaning, almost didn't notice it either. My 3x + glove size hands had a little bit of difficulty getting it back on there.

Aside from that, I like this tank and it does look good on an eGo. I like it more than my Protank mini in that it disassembles completely and is easier to clean/dry/back into use.

I had this same impression with the full-sized Davide a few weeks ago. I left it almost full and shelved it intending to eventually empty the juice. Yesterday, I decided to give it another all-day shot. It improved greatly. Full flavor and big cloudy draws. I'm guessing the wicks needed a little more time to saturate.I'm loving it now. Maybe the minis have the same issue?

How do you fill these... I have one coming in the mail and I hear you have to use a needle tip or syringe?

The fille holes are tiny, so a needle tip would help. One of my juices came with a small refill bottle with a pointed plastic spout, and that worked fine. It would take forever with a dropper or one of the bottles with a more blunt spout.

The draw on it is featherlight and yes, quite airy at least for me. There are three holes around the base for airflow. Covering up 1 or 2 with tape really tightened up the draw. I have two covered right now and love it.

There are 3 fill holes, wish it had an easily fill method, but I have sucessfully filled it without a needle just from a 1 ounce open mouth bottle by pouring in slowly and carefully over one of the fill slots.

Aside from that I like em. They are the same diameter as my Ego batteries and with the skirt, it really is made for an Ego.

I did notice a slight whistling, like I use to hear on my Protank. Hmm, I wonder if you take out the juice, could you play a little tune while fingering the airholes? :D

What kind of tape are you referring to here? I can't seem to grasp the idea of getting tape to stick on this little sliver of metal where the air holes are.
