(My experience with vaping is 3rd paragraph down, but please read thank you's)
I would like first and foremost to thank the good people at evcigarettes.com and vaporsetc.com. I was amazed at the swiftness of both of their shipping times. I ordered my starter kit and accessories from evcigarettes.com and a sampler from vaporsetc.com I ordered monday morning early and the shipped monday! They were on my doorstep 3 days later (with no priority shipping purchased btw!). These are east coast companies and I live in CA so I was very impressed.

I would like to give a VERY special thank you to Isaac at Welcome to IkenVape. I've ordered 10 cartos from this man and he treated me like I was his oldest and best customer! I've had the opportunity to pick his brain in regards to vaping and it has been wonderful. If you haven't had the opportunity to order from his website I would HIGHLY recommend it. He's going through a period of regrowth so some items may be out of stock, but he will very promptly answer questions accurately as to when items will be back in stock.

NOW... To my experience with the Riva.... AMAZING! I think this is an ideal setup for first time vapers. A little history, I've only tried the ones at the mall and the xhale one from 711. I said to myself, "These work and taste like $#!@, but there's got to be a better product out there!" and there is. My kit came with Dekang juice which I think is quite tasty though I've heard there's better out there. I blew out the primer in my LR atty loaded some juice (3 drops) and....dragon hit! The crackling is a little scary to start out and was especially loud because I wasn't patient enough to screw on the cone!

I am loving this pv. Beautiful, thick clouds of :vapor: (literally!) nice throat hit (almost too much and I was a pack a day regulars smoker) I'm super excited about this thing. I only smoked one analog after I got it and that's saying a lot because i do most of my smoking at night. I really think this is going to be the device that SAVES me from smoking. My lungs feel like they're expanding with every puff on my pv, not collapsing! I don't have any questions atm because you ALL at ecf have been soooo helpful in answering them in advance. I didn't even burn out my first LR atty! (I was very scared about doing that) I was joking to Isaac, "I don't know what's in that juice you guys are vaping, but you all are so friendly!" :p

The main theme of this post is THANK YOU! I feel so satisfied with my pv and it's all because you guys encouraged me to cancel my blucig order and get a RIVA, the rest is history. I wish I could hug all 30k of you for aiding in this movement!

Welcome, and thanks for your story! There are a lot of great people here. I wish that the rest of the world would take some lessons from the suppliers here! In the time it took for my order to arrive from Amazon I made on CyberMonday, I got multiple orders from several suppliers, free samples, PMs, stock added so I could get in on a sale, and a genuine comradery that makes you feel like you are truly a part of a community!

Congrats on hanging in there and finding something that works for you. I set up a Riva today that's going to be a Xmas present. After cleaning the attys, I put on one of my carts and tried it. I couldn't tell any difference between it and my Ego. They're both good kits. When you get a chance, post back on some of your juices, ok? I like a lot of the Dekang juices also. Later, JD

Thank you all for your encouragement! I'm very happy to say that's it's been over 24 hours without an analog! I wanted one bad after dinner, but I said, "I'm gonna give my pv a chance first and if I'm not satisfied I'll smoke no guilt." Picked up my Riva and within three puffs I was satisfied... Then vaped for half an hour just cuz it's so fun!!! 1 day down and it's not even that difficult!

That's great to hear. It keeps getting easier everyday. I hang out with smokers all the time and have no desire for analog now. I don't even like the cigarette flavor juices now. It's been 3 weeks for me and I am feeling much better. I love vaping.

I am very new to the world of vaping, but I'm seriously considering moving away from the cigarette-flavor juices. My husband and I started with the Yeti starter kit from AltSmoke.com and after our first "puff" on our e-cigs we had no reason to pick up another analog.

Until, unfortunately, our charger malfunctioned and we couldn't recharge our batteries. We put in an S.O.S. to Rob over at AltSmoke and he immediately sent out a new charger (free of charge). But while we were waiting for it to get here, we *had* to smoke. I'll tell ya - I absolutely hated it. Every time I drew smoke into my lungs, I was disgusted by it. We had only been vaping about 9 days, but already the smell of those analog's made me sick. Here's the kicker - I've been a 1.5-2/ppd smoker for almost 27 years and before now, have never found anything that actually helped me quit (and I've tried just about everything out there). Since our replacement charger got here (about a week ago now), it's been nothing but vapor for us. No more analogs, and sure as heck don't miss them one bit!

My ultimate goal is to get myself down to zero nicotine, and just vape some nice flavors. This idea still makes me a bit nervous, but I think with vaping I'll manage to do it. I know the nicotine is the major factor in the addiction, but I'm hoping I can wean myself off it gradually. Has anyone else managed to do this successfully?
