Ok, so I just got a new LT in today, and it came with two DCT tanks.

The idea behind the tanks is awesome, but they don't seem to work for me. I am probably doing something wrong, but one seems to leak like crazy and the other won't draw any fluid(could be that I'm using a thicker liquid though) and gets burnt taste.

I have a Vivi nova on the way, but I was hoping the DCTs would work out. I might try to switch the carts on the tanks to see if that does anything for me. One last shot before I give up on these things.

if you use really thick juice, punch (3) three holes in the carto, fill the carto first , by hand, with juice until its full, then fill the tank....

I did that, but when I filled it up juice kept seeping out of the bottom of one of them when I was vaping on it. I took out the carto and blew the excess out of the middle, and everytime I vaped it seemed like it was flooding it. The second one wouldn't draw any juice in. I was having the opposite problem with each carto. Other than that, the tanks were fine. Just the cartos were bum. probably.

This vid might help and a little funny towards the end

Taste Your Juice | Smoktech Tanks

I have the 3.5ml tank and I have not had a problem w/ it as of yet, I have only filled it 4 times so far ;-} It is a little slidey but not that bad. I don't have the "normal" Smoktech carto's. . mine have 2 slots pre-cut in them. Got mine from vaporphoenix
The tank (any tank really) can get vapor lock or get to much air, vapor lock would cause dry hits and to much air can cause the carto to flood and leak out the batt connector.

I use those tanks all the time. I only use the one hole type single coil 1.7 ohm cartomizers you can buy here- Pre Punched Replacement tank cartomizers I also always use 60% PG and 40% VG juices.

I have never had a cartomizer not draw fluid and if I do flood a carto I just remove it from the tank, wipe it off, put a piece of scotch tape over the single hole and then vape it out of the tank for a little while.

I really like the vape I get this way and the juice seems to go a much farther than it does in clearo's.
