Ok so I've had my tank for about two weeks and it has worked flawlessly, however it has just started to flood really bad. The entire carto fills up to the point that it won't even fire. This has happened with the same carto so I figured it was time to replace it. Now the new one is doing it. I don't think its because the holes are to big. What could be causing this? I really love this thing and need it to work like it originally did. I just started using it on my Altsmoke BB, could that have anything to do with it?

Weird thing is it started to happen on the same carto and same juice after about a week. I figured the carto was old so I tried and new one with the same juice and the same thing is happening. I checked the o rings and everything seems to be ok. I'm really not sure what the problem is. I guess I'll have to by some unpunched cartos and only punch one hole and see if that makes a difference. Any other suggestions?

Make sure the air hole(in the middle of the carto is clear.....try to blow thru gently and hold a tissue to catch the juice....
One holed cartos seem to work ok for me...
:)

This friggin sucks. I've had one carto work. I just reordered more and every single one just floods. It's like sipping juice through a straw. This thing is totally unreliable and not ready for prime time.

Mine leaks from start. My "solution" is to keep it horizontal at all times.
Besides I don't knowing exactly of how to fill (it's my first Tank) without breaking my nails and ruining (probably) the O Rings in short time by forcing off the cap.
Think that's my last MAP Tank, and start to LOVE my FOG again (which works for half a year on the first Atty and never leaks).

You fill the DCT Tank with both end caps on and then push the carto down until you can see the punch hole(s) and then tilt the cato which will give you enough space to fill the tank up. Then you push the carto up back into the tank and its ready to vape. The issue with the DCT Map Tank is the O-rings are not thick enough to hold the carto in place tightly. If the Carto moves at all while vaping it will cuase the vacuum to be distrubed and this will flood the carto and once flooded its junk. 1 hole works better than 2. Where I bought my DCT Map tank which I will be returning to the seller as I am done wasting juice and cartos, very small slits were cut with a drummel and even those didn't help. Putting some VG on the bottom o-ring that makes direct contact with the carto worked for a few days for me then it started flooding again.

a couple of thing s could go wrong here... o-rings are shot, witch leads air in your tank, then leaky carto. Next the holes (or slots) are too deep and you got a broken seal in your carto, leaky carto. The other problem you could have is that the o-rings are to thin for your set up...the tank is one big vaccume set-up, any air you get in it, leaky carto. Hope this helps.

I thought about the holes beeing too big, and closed one with a wooden toothpick.
Luckily I have that little rubbercap provided with the FOG (by funstore.gr), and this I put over the bottom of the Carto during the messy filling process.
Once it's full and closed take the orange cap off, and several drops come out (which I catch in a bottle).
During Use (after 3 refills) my tank stays dry.
Somehow the whole thing isn't really designed propperly.

i'm not sure how the tank or how it's designed could play any role in a leaky carto, it's the same basic design used by any other carto tank, actually the MAP DCT is a tighter fit around the carto compared to most others. i have been using the DCT for 3 months now and had zero issues with two punched holes.

Basically what is going on with mine is every time I take a drag it sucks in more juice regardless if the Carto needs it or not. So when I frist fill it it is ok because the carto isn't full but by the time I get to about a half tank left the Carto is full but every time I take a hit it continues to suck in fluid from the tank to the carto.

I have a question for you, every time you take a drag does the carto pull in fluid from the tank and release air bubbles back into the tank? Pretty much every drag I take 3-4 air bubbles are released from the carto into the tank. This means that If I'm not burning the same amount of juice that I'm taking in eventually the carto will flood and not fire anymore. This is what's happening to me. My tank actually isn't leaking at all. The carto floods to the point that it won't fire anymore and you can't suck air through it anymore without sucking fluid into your mouth like a straw.

I hope I have explained this well enough. I've going through about 5 cartos so far. The first one I used worked for like two weeks and then started flooding. I figured after two weeks it was bad and put a new carto in and every since then I can't get it to work right.

First: my leaking and filling issues are solved. Beginners mistakes. Now i can fill it without spilling a drop, and it stays bonedry. Only the vape is very worm to hot after a few pulls, even on 3,3V set on the Provari.

Just another question to the carto, as with the tank I got my first carto (up to now I only had Attys besides my T-egonis)
How many tank-fills should a carto live, or asked differently, how do you know its passing away?
After 3 fillings (all with same self mixed polish 12mg cherryliquor juice) i think it starts to taste bitter.
Kind regards
Martin

I usually take my tank apart and blow out the carto every two or three fills unless I decide to switch flavors before then. I'm still using the same cartos that I got about a month ago with the tank. You'll know when your cartos are starting to die or dead because they won't produce as much vapor or they just won't work at all. The only way you can be sure is to put them on a multimeter.

If your juice is starting to taste bitter, try blowing out the carto and see if that helps. It sounds like juice is building up and might be getting just a little burnt. I think cartos live a little longer when used with the tanks because they stay wet.

Hey guys. Got my first tank over the weekend and I think my hole is too small. I don't see any air bubbles entering the tank and my polyfill on the top of the cartos under my drip tip dries to its white color after vaping for a while. I didn't want to make it too big after reading up on the problems people were having. I have one.hole about 1-1.5mm in diameter. Juice level doesn't seem to be going down so I think I need a bigger hole right? My juice is 18mg Hawaiian delight from Madvapes which is pink in color and the filler turns white after I vape a while. Should the juice being pulled in reach the top filler of.the carto? Or does it just concentrate towards the middle/bottom where the coils are?
