Can you please help me. I just received my DCT and I can not get it to fire on either of my eGo 1000mah batteries, I even tried one of the other 1.5ohm dc carto I ordered and it will not fire with the dc carto at all. I thought these would work with the eGo. What am I doing wrong? The boge LR 2.0 cartos work fine. I am starting to get frustrated with the whole vaping expierence seems I have had one problem after another since starting.

It sounds like a connection problem. You can try adjusting the center post of the cartomizer or using an adapter might help as well.
If you have a tiny screwdriver or unbend a paper clip, stick it into the bottom of the cartomizer and pull it down slightly. You can also very carefully do the same to your battery. Very gently put the screwdriver on either side of the center 'button' on the battery and pull it up very slightly.
Ok I will try that. So for the cart do I put the paper clip up the srew end? (oh that just sounded bad)

If you look at the bottom of the cartomizer you will see a flathead screwdriver groove. Use a screwdriver to turn it about a quarter turn clockwise and see if that helps. I have had to do this on a few smoktech DCCs.
Thanks a bunch I so carefully pulled the battery up and now it fires great. Guess I need to contact some vendors that I have sent stuff back to because they did not work. Just odd both the batteries were seated wrong. You guys are the best.
I have had that happen with a couple of smoketech batteries. I don't know if it's a cartomizer issue or battery issue. Like you mentioned, I didn't have this with some other cartos. I've had it happen with older batteries though, if you screw them into the charger too tight the battery gets pushed in a bit.

Did you try raising the post in the cartomizer or just the battery?
Do you have any of those tiny rare earth magnets? You could try using one of them.
With the SmokTech DC I find I have to tighten them a little more than the boges but don't over tighten.
