My cousin has switched to using a KFL+ and is asking if I'm interested in his original Davide BCC with a bunch of Kanger heads, only problem is the tank is broken. Would I be able to use the BCC base on the King? I would love to do a comparison between BCC and BDC but I would rather not spend for a tank if I don't have to.

Seedeeze, the actual base's are the same, it is the additional section that makes the BDC section. The reaseon we are selling them so cheap is because they will not work with the BCC coils. Check our original post whe it explains what happened with Anyvape on it.

Thank you, that is the answer I was looking for but was not in the original post nor the product page.

What got me confused is the red text on the product page. I thought it was red to call attention to it because it is important information. Hind sight is 20/20 so looking back, I would've probably used a strikethrough instead of changing the color of the text.

I think I'm going to get one of these assuming the tank itself will fit on the Davide BCC.

From the first page of this thread:

The Kinda Bad News
After going back and forth with Anyvape we found out they threw us a curve on our Davide King rollout. Without telling us and in a rush to get our large order out before Chinese New Year, the King went from being a Dual BDC/BCC compatible design (meaning you can use Aspire BDC coils or Pro Tank BCC coils on the same unit) to Aspire only, much the same as our original Davide BDC Glassomizer.

The Pretty Good News
We IS not so happy with this as Anyvape asked us to make a pre-release announcement which we did in early December and they never warned us of this change. We would have adjusted our order or told them to wait until after the CNY. The issue they had is that the units leaked when Pro Tank BCC heads were used. So kudos to them for not releasing it with that issue but BooDos to them for leaving us holding a fairly large bag. As it is, The Davide King, in its present incarnation does have good improvements: Addition of a center locking twist knob at the top that allows a Top Fill. You will not have to remove the tank and invert to fill now. You remove the tip assembly and can fill down the sides - before doing so you twist the knob to close off the coil chamber to prevent pressurization from forcing juice through the heads causing leakage/gurgling. After you have filled, you then 'open' things up with the top knob to allow gravity to pull the juice into the bottom coil chamber with no leakage

I must be blind, stupid or both but I don't see the info you gave in post #83 on the above text.

I got the part about the King not being compatible with a BCC. Not being familiar with any Davide, I asked if maybe changing parts would make it BDC compatible, to which I got the answer to but I don't understand why you're asking me to re-read the original post and copying text from there.

I don't know why there are mediocre reviews of this product. I like it very much. This thing is my new favorite. You do have to figure out how to use it. When you unpack it and try to fill it. Do the following:
1. Unscrew and remove the mouthpiece
2. Make sure the tank is tight, in other words, coil, spacer, glass, etc.
3. Turn the piece that sticks out where the mouthpiece goes until you see the holes open in the bottom. This is very important, it allows the liquid to flow to the coil.
4. Fill it from the top like a unitank and reattach the mouthpiece.
5. Vape away!

Let me just say it works like a champ and the quality seems to be good. All the machining seems to match together well. The only concern I have is all the gaskets, although it did come with an extra set of gaskets. For ten bucks, this thing is WELL worth it.

By the way, if you don't like the tank, you can use the adapter and spacer on a protank two and convert it to use the Aspire dual coils. I; however, like this one better than my protank. That's saying a lot, I love my protank. I hope the guys at gotvapes will upload a video soon, so people don't get mad at their new toy.

Just wanted to post something that may help others with this product. I got mine few days ago and ran into difficulties trying to make it work, but eventually figured everything out. One very important thing to check is whether or not your product opens/closes the "feed hole" easily. You do this by turning the center-rod that's exposed when you unscrew (not pop-out) the mouth-piece. You turn clockwise to open and counter-clockwise to close and visually verify this by looking to see if the small "holes" show at the bottom of the tank. This center-rod is supposed to turn the base, but may not if the base is stuck when it gets jammed. Basically, you will be able to turn the center-rod (you can feel it click as it turns), but the base may not turn. In this situation, what I found was to unscrew the bottom-connector piece (very bottom that houses the Aspire Head) little bit to loosen or un-jam the unit, then jiggle the center-rod to see if the base turns. Once you resolve this issue, you "close" the "drip hole" to fill, then "open" it before restoring the mouth-piece and vape. It gets a bit tricky because you can end up flooding the unit if you don't quickly "open" and restore the mouth-piece, so try to shorten the time it takes you to do this as much as possible. Aside from this quirk, I think it's a fantastic product, especially for the discounted price.

Yeah, not having a very easy time with this at all. Tried to get the center post back together a few times and destroyed two of the small o rings in the process. It is back together now but the center post will NOT turn the little part at the bottom to close off the holes. I suspect ring number three is shot, and now I can't get the thing apart again, time to bust out the pliers, grrrrr. Haven't even gotten to the juice part yet

Starting to think this will be the king of the bottom of my drawer.

Turn the shaft clockwise first.
I suggest shipping in the Open, not locked position. That way eager vapers can fill and go. As it is, 1. Unscrew and remove the mouthpiece
2. Turn the piece that sticks out where the mouthpiece goes clockwise until you see the holes open in the bottom. This is very important, it allows the liquid to flow to the coil.
3. Vape. Give it about 5-10 hits before the real nice hits come in.
There is a small marking on the side of the tank that says "-_ lock " five stars for $10

Thanks so much Danno, a tremendous savings on this item. Regarding the center post not turning, mine won't turn either, even after completely disassembling it twice. Obviously when top filling it I'm getting juice gurgling for the first 5-6 vapes and a little in my battery. The easiest fix for me has just been to invert and fill...

Well after the initial problems with the leaking due to missing O rings and getting that sorted out last night it has worked like a champ and I have a second one now. As for the top filling I've not bothered with it as it is just as easy for me to do it from the bottom since I have to use a syringe any how. I see you have replace glass for it and would like to see a package of more O rings also.

Now I have one other question on the BCC coils and a replace bottom to use both as those not on sale can do. In other words will they be convertible upgradeable to use the BDC and BCC coils as was first intended. Thanks for the help again with the O rings and where they go.

I bought two of these and had the time of hell with it until I found this thread......the hole would not move when turning the locking post until I untightened the aspire adapter a little, and low and behold the locking post when pushed down started to turn!!!!!!! Vape Heaven...before this I would just unscrew the bottom and fill the tank now this is much easier!
