Well, sure, but I was trying to see if there's any thoughts on how I could actually use ALL THREE as BDC's, as I had intended (withOUT taking the one apart, rinsing the grommet, reassembling the first one -without.a.grommet.-, placing grommet in second, and repeating that process all the time silly-face!:p)

Protanks (single coil) are o.k., but I end up taking the flavor wicks out, PLUS I don't HAVE more than 2 Protank heads on hand (which I plan to use in my Protank).

I KNOW it was my bad as an oversight on disassembly ... and single coils are fine & all ... just looking to be able to use all my Davide tanks at the same time. (as bdc's - that is):(

Thanks in advance.

Any thoughts on replacements would be appreciated

I received 2 extra rings when I bought the colored pyrax tubes for my Davide....
Anyvape Davide & Mini Davide : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
IN ADDITION TO THE PYREX TUBE YOU GET A TOP AND BOTTOM SPARE O-RING(S)
Would that work for you?

No, Smokey is talking about the small plastic grommet that fits on the center tube, not the o-rings for the tanks.

I regularly use a different brand of the protank style with the Aspire spacer and head. That tank doesn't have the cross support stuff found in the Davide and the ProTank 2, kind of free standing center tube like in the original ProTank. The Aspire head fits tight to the center tube without the grommet on that tank; no leaks. Maybe it would do the same on an original ProTank without the grommet.

I'll try it out next time I have an empty tank to fart with.

nevermind... gurgles with an original PT w/ no grommet.

Yeah, trust me, it's not a tight seal without it.
Fortunately I discovered the leaking before they dumped too much Liquid.
It was my bad, and if GotVapes had them in stock then I would've picked em up from there along with my iClear30S's & a replacement bottom ring I ordered for my Protank @ GV that night.

No big deal.
That's the cool thing about the Davides - I CAN use em as single coils until them little :evil:grommet-ba$tard$ become available down the road.

Gotta say though... I've been puffin on my one with the BDC set-up with some Halo "Tribeca" & later some "Torque56".
Pretty awesome performance - and SILENT when primed!

My second Davide's set up with a single PT coil (minus flavor wicks) and the flavor's off the chain!:vapor::drool:
(gotta rebuild my other single PT coil before I can use my 3rd Davide - tomorrow's another day.:toast:)

& yes @rdsok (MasterOfTheObvious:pervy:) U'll see that I mentioned how I ALWAYS clean new tanks/heads/etc. before first use - which is why I hurriedly disassembled/cleaned/soaked-in-denture-cleaner/rinsed/dried my Davides before even trying them after the nastiness in my foolish lunge toward Nirvana with the Aspire ET-S.
THOSE still taste toxic, so I won't comment until I give em a vodka bath. GV doesn't carry em, and prolly shouldn't from what's being said around the interweb.

p.s. - You don't mean to tell me I've been eating dirty salad all this time, do you???

I recommend it unless you are fond of the taste of the machine oils used to manufacture some of these types of parts.:D
-We Halons THRIVE on the taste of machine oils!-

I would love to know how this new (and the old, for that matter) Davide vapes. I am currently still using Boge LR cartos with Ego. I tried the Protank 2 and hate the cool airy vape. I need a hotter, more flavorful vape. I don't care about the "amount of vape" as far as what actually is seen (actually, the less vapor that can be seen, the more likely I'll be able to continue using it at work). I vape with quick short draws and vape a lot. I hate the new 10 second cut off on the newer Egos I've bought, as well, cause I used to be able to use the smaller, quicker vapes to get it nice and hot and flavorful. I'll take any suggestions!!! Thanks.

& yes @rdsok (MasterOfTheObvious:pervy:)

Perhaps it is obvious to you and that is good since your an obvious newbie... but someone giving you good info is no reason to be rude and act like an immature know-it-all towards someone else that is just trying to provide you info, there is no way anyone knows if you know or learned something yet or not...

I had the same reaction to the Protank initially, as I started with the Halo Triton system (like the eGo), and they use top coil tanks which provide a warmer vape. I also liked LR cartos initially for the stronger flavor compared to regular cartos.
The regular Davides are very similar to the Protanks (can even use the same coils & bottom caps, etc.).
The vape is much cooler and airier than I prefer, so I got a cheap ($3.50 I believe) tank airflow controller which allows you to simply twist it & completely adjust the tightness of the draw. It makes my old Protank & new Davide BDC's Awesome for me. And it could be used for any 510 connection (I'm pretty sure they make em for eGo as well).
HIGHLY recommend.
And I've gotta say that I LOVE these Davides so far. Really great flavor & vape - and they're versatile (interchangeable with Protank parts, ability to go SC or DC, replaceable PYREX tanks in multi colors).
You can salvage the single coil Davide or Protank experience very easily by pulling out the long ribbed post on the coil & removing one (or both) of the "flavor wicks" sitting loose on top of the coil.
Super easy - takes ten seconds, and gives a TON more flavor.
However, I prefer the BDC... warmer, cleaner, and silent.

@rdsok - I was just playin.
Lighten up.:D (but I DID state earlier that I ordinarily wash all my tanks before use.)
Even though I'm only a month-and-a-half into this I'm ALL in... have asked a lotta questions... have bought & experimented with a lot of gear... and did a ton of reading on this wonderful forum ahead of time (and appreciate everyone's kindly help getting me to this point).
I tend to be a bit of a smart-... at times, and thought U'd see it as that. Havin some fun.
Thanks for trying to be helpful, and please understand it's all a big joke.

I really like my Davide BDC. I had a regular single coil before. Does anybody know about the longer tubes.
It says in the description at all the sellers
"The volume of glassomizer can be easily upgraded by our longer spare tube and glass tube locker."
But no one sells them.
I really would like a bigger tank but can´t find it anywhere
