I use 1ml (Amazon) for most of my flavorings. As to the "bubble" in larger syringes, try drawing in a small amount of air before drawing in the liquid. Now instead of a bubble, you have an air pocket so the liquid is not touching the plunger. Too much air and you won't be able to draw in liquid to max measuring capacity. Too little air=bubble.

Exactly what I do other than I mostly use 3ml syringes for flavors. Have a bunch of 1ml syringes with micro needles too. They are OK for 5ml test batches and their smaller flavor percentages, and for additives that are so strong or critical that being off a little is less desireable. But the 3ml syringes are often one-shot for flavors in my 30ml batches, the 5ml syringes for much larger batches.

I prime my syringes with a small amount of PG or VG, upend it, tap to get the bubble up to the top, and then push the bubble out along with any extra PG or VG. I used to do this for each flavor, but now do it only at the beginning of the flavor stage, wiping the needle off between flavors using a damp paper towel.

In the grand scheme of things, my taste buds (still) are not sensitive enough to detect the .025ml difference, but the bubble annoys me so I do it anyhow...

I second what rickb said about the bubble space in a 1ml for flavors. So much easier on the eyes and no annoying half bubble. I draw the syringe up about an 1/8" before pulling the flavor.

I also don't use needles in my pg/vg syringes. I don't seem to get any bubbles that way. I guess it's because of the very short distance of the syringe tip without a needle.

I use a small air space with my nic syringes with needles to be precise because I use 100mg almost all the time.

No matter what, half bubbles are the WORST.
