I have the original 14500 Reo mini and all I use on it are 2 a7 full sizes. 510 to 510 adaptor or 510 to eGo adapter. I like the 510 to 510 best because its smaller and looks better. I cant wait to get an A7 mini for it though. I am hoping to someday order a larger Reo and a Reomizer2 or two, when I've got the money for it. But for now, I'm telling ya'll, the a7 atomizers do work, and they can work well when you get the hang of them. I'm sure the Reomizer2 is better in a few ways, but the a7 atomizers don't bother me at all. Once you learn how your wick/coil wants to be treated, it works well. Sometimes my wick/coil is oriented where it likes a longer, softer drag. Or sometimes it likes a faster, harder drag. It depends on where I orient the coil in the atomizer and if it is directly above the squonk/airhole or to the side. But the a7 does work well.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
A very easy fix for the A7 :)
use a carto condom to completely wrap the positive terminal on the A7 this will of course stabilize it making it safe but also block off the airflow next just above the threads drill an appropriate size air hole 1/16 for me and you now have a decent RBA

Why would I want to change my wonderful A7 into a Phoenix clone? Blasphemy I say ........ Blasphemy!

If you use two pieces of carto condom you can leave room for the air holes. A7 are too airy for me so cutting one piece with space for one air hole and track for juice is just right.

I have a Mini A7 on my workhorse Mini 1.0 right now. It's not as airy as the A7 and the post is more stable. I still wouldn't use either in a Woodvil without protection circuit as replacing Woodvil springs requires soldering.

It's too airy for me. A7 Mini borderline. Maybe it was because you blocked all the air with the full condom.

No that was before the mod. The full wrap was after for my modification. I like a fairly airy draw. Drilled mt RM2 out to 1/16 or maybe just over. I have a machinist set of bits here I forget the number that I used. But it's close to 1/16

I think part of it is how one takes drags. I take several short drags at a time.

Off to airport. DH has tomorrow off. His Bday is Sunday. He'll be officially 78 yr. What a tough old dude! Genetics AND DIET play a big part. His BP and cholesterol, blood sugars, etc., are better than most 30 yr olds. His preffered eating pattern is mostly "grazing." DD accused us, for years, of starving her. We never kept junk in house.

Don't know if they corrected the design, i have an A7 ~ purchased fairly recently ~ that I never cared much about

But yesterday I felt like vaping with a vertical SS Mesh in my reo (there are a few tobaco / dark flavors I prefer on a mesh) and reached for the A7, didn't have any issue at all, the positive post screws / unscrews easily but does not wobble

Btw, A7 on REO + vertical mesh is the first time I don't regret having bought this RDA

I have 5 A7's going on my wood REO's. They are not like the RM2 in ease of coil insertion, juice retreating to bottle, vapor or flavor. But they are what I could afford to put a RBA on a quantity of wood REO's. I also run 2 Reomizers, 2 306 atty's, and one RM2 on woods at home. It gives me a variety. But I find myself grabbing the VV Woodvil with the RM2 much more!

I have altered the size and position of the coil and find the A7's can be pretty good. Using what I have read on the REO forum has helped me make the best of an cheap atty.

I bought it for a self-made feeder I have, since I wanted the juice to go back to the bettle I dremeled down the feed tube to be flush with the base

Now I run mesh on it and it's working wonders, there are some tobbaco flavors I prefer on mesh than on cotton

Here are some (bad) shots, notice the flush and that I put the mesh at an angle on purpuse, that way when I tilt the REO towards me for vaping the little juice in the cup accumulates at the bottom of the mesh and keeps it wet

it makes very good use of the juice I mush say, I don't need to feed again until it's 100% dry

Same here. I have zero problem with my A7 which I got a couple weeks ago. I read this whole tread and some before I got it. Checked it before using the moment I received it and it's not wobbly at all. With the advice of a fellow Reonaut Ratman, and some experiments, I was able to get a very good flavor by placing the micro coil on top of the air hole. I am using it now while waiting for my RM2, which I sent back to Rob for a modification. For me, it is on par with the RM2 in terms of flavor. But it's just me. :)

I am waiting for the Cyclone + AFC (cyclops) to arrive in the mail today and will compare. But for the money, the A7 is one of the best RDA for me. :)

I'm loving the setup I've been using since yesterday. But before that I didn't find much use for it tough.

right now if I feel like cotton, rm2 (already tried horizontal mesh but it's not as good, the small diameter makes for a very tiny bit of mesh)
    for mesh though: A7

maybe it's just me coming from months and months of using only Genesis, but now and then I miss the flavor of a good mesh wick

not that cotton is bad at all, it's just a matter of preference for some liquids

Yeah, I'm into tobacco flavor (diy) and cotton for me is awesome with it. :)
