So here is the plan, 1st we need to get you stabilized, then when the flair ups occur you need to know how to deal with that and lastly there are your monthly check up here at the clinic.

Rx:
One TI 4050 chip (place under your pillow at bed time)
and
Three 510 blank atty connectors ( keep them in your pocket at all times, to be used in case of flair ups while out in public (like at Walmarts, lowes, home depot))

Phew I was starting to think there was no help my affliction started a LONG time ago, it got so bad my own mother wouldn't buy me toys any more at the age of 11 she started buying me radio shack DIY kit in place of toys on Christmas and birthdays (knowing how I would simply take toys apart to find out what made them tick). But I guess my very 1st mod was the battery powered dc wall clock I attempted to turn into an ac 110 volt clock that was only meant for a 9 volt battery, it did not work quite the way I thought the hands were moving so fast it scared me lol. Which was coincidentally then 1st time I ever felt the exhilaration of 110 volts lmao, quickly learned a valuable lesson which unfortunately didn't sink in fast enough to save my speaker amplifier I also tried to wire into a wall socket lmao! True be it embarrassing story lol :)

Dear shocking results,
Yes it seems that you do indeed have the genetic markers of a modder.
(No need to go to the expense of running a bunch of tests just to find out what we already know).

Tell your family that they must support you when a flair up occurs, and what ever you do DO NOT try to resist the temptation to mod the things just lying around the house. After all your wife can always buy a new electric tooth brush.

dear yea you got it too,

...and there are those that have totally immunity. They can be ided easily, we have developed a test to check for immunity, we just give them a light bulb and watch them change it. If in their attempt to change the light bulb they manage to break both the old and the new one and get shocked along with falling off the ladder we know that they will never get modumust fever...

lmfao!!!! :)

Dear gummy,
Me coming back to ecf to find a new mod (thats not a pure smoker) led me to finding an old ce2, digging out the mod box and making sure i still had some mesh and the nails and springs, tracking down some pre cut pyrex tube (actually it found me :D) and going to get some new solder and flux (couldnt find mine)... Now I need a trip to the hardware store to find some m1.6 nuts, and order some kanthal.
I'm sure most of you know where this is going...

I prefit the battery connector into the bottom part of the scubagen, and screwed it onto the prodigy v3.1, and the tapered bottom actually sat into the juice well quite nice...

So doctor gummy, please don't remind me about the three atty connectors and the assorted voltage regulator modules I have stashed away, my daughter might not like that

Dear knuckled under to daddy's little girl,

Just tell her that you'll ground her if she gives you any grief. (it doesn't matter how old she is, it still works).
Then tell her that you need more supplies (make her buy them as a form of support)
And if that doesn't work tell her that your doing it under Dr.'s orders.

Dear Gummy,

I have been taking my time, while procrastinating along side, building a tuxedo-box from exotic hardwood, stmped chrome doors, the DNA 12 and around a hand-made steel chassis to hold 2x 18650 IMRs. All was going well with the build. I measured everything 3or 4 times. It's 3/4 of the way finished. I only have 2 or 3 connections to make and assembling all the box components with epoxy.

The problem is I got married yesterday. My new wife has reserved herself to knowing I am a modder. She even let me capitalize the computer desk in the bedroom as my novice bomb-builder's workshop (new desk being locatted in the upstairs bonus room within the month !!). No worries with significant other modumust disgust. She cherishes my ingenuity. The problem is I'm happily married today. I feel like a new man. I'm lavishing myself in her company. We have a week of "just us" planned. I NEED TO GET BACK TO MY MOD!!!!

Please help. I don't want to deny the joy that I'm feeling in our new union, but MY MOD'S NOT FINISHED AND IT NEEDS COMPLETION. I DUNNO WHAT TO DO!!

Dougie, congrats on the marriage and enjoy your honeymoon, this too shall pass. Treat your mod like a fine wine, better with age. As a bonus you can ponder over it and maybe come up with an improvement along the way. Just maybe keep that to yourself during the honeymoon.
