I only put a tiny hole in the side of the Vortex. It didn't leak any more than without the tank. but dang we have gotten way off topic. perhaps someone should start a vortex mod thread so as to keep the waiting room open in case of an Modumust Fever emergency. I think TomcaTT is due for his monthly check up anyway.

dear gummy,
i think the people in the waiting room are feeding on each others illness. maybe keep some 14500s, atty connectors and assorted components in place of the magazines and that will help... just be careful. if they dont bring their own box to make it in, they may start salvaging parts... i think an electrical box might make due

Dear atty connectors,

So that is where my receptionists car door clicker went.

I have the TV in the waiting room set to play re-runs of The young and the vapeless, as the atty turns, and all my children's mods. now you want atty connectors too. bad enough last week when those box modders were here for their check up that they left wood shavings all over the floor. But it is a small price to pay to help those that I can so I will see what I can do.

Dear Gummy:

I have one of these on my desk at work:

j4x_fxrs.gif

ALERT J4X Professional

It doesn't work. It's been logged as county property and has the county's numerical property sticker on the back, but I don't think they'd miss it. I received a newer, functional model last year and they never asked for this one to be returned.

What do I do?

Dear Gummy,

A few weeks ago I found a flex led flash light in the store and said, "Hmm...That would make a nice mod.", but I decided not to buy it. Today I saw it and said to myself, "Hmm...The body is perfect to fit a 5v circuit in with an 18500, the circuit board and switch will work to make a much smaller 3.7v mod, the flex line would work as a homemade gooseneck, and I can attach the LED head to a dead atty body to make a flashlight attachment for my Provari." Needless to say I bought it.

4 separate mods, from 1 $4 flashlight...I think I may be getting worse.

Dear gooseneck,

Of course your getting worse, this is a progressive affliction. And it doesn't help your condition one bit if you don't follow my Rx.
I have told you repeatedly. You MUST treat the symptoms with copious amounts of modding. Now you come in and tell me that you saw something a few weeks ago and didn't buy it. Why do you punish yourself like that? OK here's the Rx. I say it simply as I can. GO GET IT.. and mod on.

It appeared that buying a Provari had smushed the bug, but of course, with time, it came back strong as ever. It appears that the end resulting mod is not important, but just the act of modding itself. In any case my Provari flashlight attachment is almost done. Hopefully doing this little one will allow me to get some sleep. Thanks for the consult Doc!
