@Salem, Sdh

You came to the right place, but of course here at the free clinic we tend to cut up a good bit.
It's all part of the therapy to help those who suffer so badly with this most debilitating affliction.
After all laughter is still the best medicine.

And now there are a ton of the worlds best modders aware of your issue so surly someone will come to your aid very soon.
(well as soon as they can pry themselves away from the workshop)

s Ok she sent me a message too and likely I didn't get back to her fast enough so she started asking around...SDH is a sweetheart...as to a help section...where better to get help than from a bunch of Mad Modders...We know where the Goods are...Muahahahahaha...but due to our mild insanity/affliction YES we do tend to cut up...

Currently My Issues issues are having issues of their own...Yes so far a bad mo for me...AND I didn't get to play w fireworks AGAIN...It has to be a conspiracy!!!!! (wanders of babbling madly)

Dear Babbling,
Ah, your late for your check up. I would charge you a late fee but after all,, this is a free clinic.
But I can charge you a penalty:

You job is to find out how to re-wick Sdh's atty. (see above) and report back ASAP.
You can recruit help from any one else here. She's getting desperate and for sure all yous guys understand "desperate".

Dear can't cut it,
Oh no, not you too. Modumust fever is running ramped here lately. To answer your question I got my last batch from E-Bay. (Lexan). I cut mine with a fret saw and precision mider box. then heat the crap out of the ends to kinda flame polish it so it doesn't crack later from the sawing putting micro-cracks in it.

Dr. gummy, I can't seem to muster the energy to finish my my vv mint tin mod. I had some trouble soldering to a 1/2 in sweat adapter now i'm too frustrated to persevere. I know I need to get out the propane torch and heat it up real well to get it to stick but I have already jb welded the post and insulator ring in, and am dreading the possible result of heating the metal that much. What do you prescribe?

Dear too frustrated to persevere,

Duct tape,,,,,,,,,,,, You can fix anything with duct tape.

Rx:
Take a break, and the next time your Modumust Fever flairs up you will have a project just waiting for you.

Just remember:
If at first you don't succeed, the hell with it. Why be a hard head.
or, if your one of them go getter types:
If at first you don't succeed, keep on sucking till you do succeed.

Dr G,
I believe that I do not have ModUMust fever - instead I think I have a variant - Mod Parts Acquisition Syndrome (MPAS); I think in the past I've confused this syndrome with a Procrastinitus/ModUMust fever combination. I've accumulated enough supplies to build numerous mods (and continue to accumulate pieces and parts ) yet have not built anything in months. I will build one soon; but let me check eBay first ...

Dear doing great with proper treatment,

See with the proper treatment that you have been getting here at the free clinic you have your affliction under control.
I remember when you first came here, you were a train wreck. Mod this, mod that,,, Now just look how far you've come.

Now please don't confuse proper treatment for being cured. If you stop the treatments the withdrawals could overwhelm you. Don't get over confidant. Doctor's orders.

It must be catchy, I have the same symptoms. Now I just bought two more tackle boxes to keep all the parts in.

Dear Tackle box full of nothing yet,
Over the past year or so we have had our top scientist and medical (read psychiatrists) personal working sometimes around the clock studying Modumust Fever and how best to treat it. What we have learned is that it is highly contagious and that it is transmitted visually. All one has to do is look at (or read about ) a mod and you could find yourself stricken for life. Others are not so susceptible to it. Such people are the type that couldn't change a light bulb, (remember that thread?) So we have not been able to use them to make an inoculation for Modumust Fever because the side effects may turn a perfectly brilliant modder into a blithering idiot. So at this point all we can do it treat the symptoms. We here at the free clinic have became the world leaders in this treatment with many success stories. So for you I give the usual Rx (three 510 blank atty connectors in your pocket.) If you have trouble sleeping let me know and I will prescribe something for that.

Dear wishful thinking,
Unlike the pill, the 510 connectors won't go bad if you don't get to use them any more often than you get to use that pill you got there.

I must say that despite my age I still get to use something like that as regular as clock work. Every Christmas.

Thank you Doctor Gummy. It is in my nature to go against the doctors wishes, so duct tape was not an option. I did finish my project though, I got out the propane torch and sparked up my modumust fever. It's not my best work, however it is the best performing mod I have made to date. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/259577-just-lm2596-users-63.html post #626
