Why did a non-smoker feel compelled to watch your video? Oy, some people's kids.
I live in New Orleans & one night while my husband & I were walking home from dinner in the Quarter, we walked across Bourbon Street- the main drag of booze, strip clubs & vice -and witnessed a lady screaming at people about how dare they behave so poorly when she had a toddler in a stroller. Because clearly, it's the fault of the people at the party that she felt compelled to bring her 2 year old there at 10pm?
she said, "You know, smoking's bad for you. It will kill you." Without skipping a beat I said, "So is being fat."
, and I've noticed that the more people move here from out-of-state, the less friendly the whole place has become. Therefore, I suggest that everybody blame the northerners... even if you're from New England, just blame a different state.
Everybody's happy![]()
i have yet to figure out which is worse,,,those that cold turkey or never smoked ???
The best one is the lady in my office who is trying to quit using gum and patches at the same time and still smoking, she ask me how much I was spending and said that was ridiculous, then she complained that I was vaping during break at my desk, I have permission to vape anytime anywhere in our office her response was well if you are trying to quit you haven't, I mean really she is smoking with the patches on while smacking her nasty gum commenting and complaining about me. Really smokers are the worst I think it might be jealousy.
Unfortunately there is no known cure for ignorance...
If you go to any militant quit-smoking website, that will most certainly reinforce your beliefs.I've always had a theory that the reason the ex smokers are so militant and seem to have to go out of their way to be a**holes, is that they still miss smoking, wish they could still do it, and have to justify their feelings of "loss". I know the few times I have "quit" in the past, I always felt a sense of loss and was miserable.
I actually think that the "fiddle factor" helped me in quitting analogs.
Agreed. As being in an asian society they usually see smoking as gang related meh.Too many nonsmokers nowadays believe that they have a license to be rude.
I don't know if this will come to you as a relief or not, but it's the same in the USA, not so much in Europe.Agreed. As being in an asian society they usually see smoking as gang related meh.
So many great points here! I love it when someone quit cold turkey and actually says "Oh wow I wish I had that when I quit smoking!"
