After not even 12 hours of owning my first kayfun(Lite) my mod fired unintentionally and went unnoticed for a short time. As it was short, there was no personal injury, just some warmth.

That warmth was from my Kayfun. The insulator is now melted. The Kayfun is bricked. It was my first build, and I didn't even get to finish a tanks worth of juice in it.

COME ON! I just got it! Wish I could fix it, but probably not, so I'll just end up getting another one, as the vape quality was outstanding. I understand the hype now.

I had a mishap as well when I first set up my kayfun. I didn't like how it was gapping on my dingo so I went to "adjust" the center pin and ended up rotating the positive block into contact with the negative. Couple springs later I took it apart and face palmed. Nice and flush on the nemmy though =)

I did the exact same thing....glad to know I wasn't the only one who thought the center pin was adjustable. :)

What caused you to facepalmed? :)

My kayfun would not fire now and I have been trying to rectify this problem since yesterday.

Both of my insulator seems to be in good condition, is there anything else to look out for?

Ha, did the exact same thing the other day when swapping between my VV and Mech mods. Couldn't figure out for the life of me why it was shorting until I went to rebuild the coil.

Does anyone know if the russian/kayfun insulators are identical?

I'm not sure if they're identical, but they're interchangeable.

My Russian arrived in the mail with a warped insulator. All I could find were Kayfun insulators. I bought some and they work perfectly.
