...And it sucks, because they're are my absolute favourite juice manufacturer.

Sent James an email today (re-opening) requesting a batch of zero nicotine liquid in my two favourite tobacco flavours. 18mg is too high for me, and I can't vape more than 3 puffs without getting a massive headache within 20 minutes.

I wanted to cut my nic level in half - 9mg is perfect.

I don't know about the rest of you, but 18mg should not be labeled as "low" - that's a farce.

James responded by writing:

"Hi,
we only offer 24 and 18mg now, you can check with our many resellers for
lower nic juices as we still supply them to our wholesale accounts."

Really? Like who? There are NO other carriers of JC liquids in Canada other than Electrovapors and NFN - neither of which carry any ZERO liquids in anything except fruity flavours. I refuse to order liquids from the USA because I don't feel like spending money on something that might not get past customs.

So... To stay with Juicy Clear, I have to vape a nicotine dosage far higher than I want - not gonna happen... You know, many vapers plan on cutting back on nicotine or eliminating it entirely while still keeping the habit of "smoking" going.

While I'm sure Juicy Clear won't feel the impact of one customer leaving, I'm sure many others that want to cut back will eventually leave the brand because of lack of choice with their dosage.

I too had to dump my faves due to this same thing. Not supposed to quit or go no/low nic just like the cig companies. Sorry fellows some vendors do get it and those who don't lose some business. And I am learning to make my own juice, so yes you have options and many of them will save you even more $$, best of luck, don't boycott just let them know your preferences and then move on, lots of great vendors out there.

I only order from the states now and have been for a while and it has never been ceased at customs. It's a chance you have to take I guess but considering the prices and huge amounts of flavor choices, I think it's well worth the gamble.

Have you personally contacted Electrovapors and NFN and requested a 0 nic in your fav flav?

You could always 'brew'/develop your own. Or move to the US. Or...

But to announce a BOYCOTT... :glare:

Nice solution, I'll just pack my things and move on down south :glare:

Electrovapors has told me to let them know what flavours I would like in lower or zero strengths, and has told me twice that they will get those ones in zero nic when they restock. They have since restocked twice and not come out with the no nic flavours I requested.

I am boycotting JC as a personal choice. I am not asking anyone else to join just for the fun of it. I think they make GREAT liquids and if they suit your needs then by all means purchase them!

I also think it's lame to only sell to a niche market within a niche market, effectively cutting off those who enjoy their product but can't use it. I mean, how different is 18 vs 24mg? If you're gonig to offer two strengths of liquid, then make two distinct strengths. Mixing 11mg and 24mg strengths would effectively MAKE an 18mg liquid, so why not DO THAT? You can accomodate everyone that way.

:p
Worse comes to worst, you could always maybe just cut it with some straight pg or vg? This will, of course, probably decrease the overall flavor though :( Sorry that this ordeal isn't working out for ya.

I've thought of that, and I will try it.. hopefully it doesn't come out tasting like chalk :p

Honestly, I think your problem is something other than the nicotine level.

If 3 puffs from 18mg liquid is giving you a headache, well just 6 puffs from 9mg would give you a headache also. 3 puffs is probably equivalent to a couple drops of liquid, which is about .1 ml. That's 1.8 mg of nicotine if you were to absorb it completely, but that is not likely. That is a very small amount to be causing a reaction, particularly for an ex-smoker (I'm assuming).

Is it possible you are allergic to PG or VG? Perhaps you are having a reaction to certain flavorings?

Now, I am not defending juicy-clear. I've never tried their products. Actually, never heard of them before reading your post. I'm just thinking that if you react that way to just 3 puffs you might want to look at something else being the cause.

Perhaps 3 puffs is a subjective exaggeration.. But it IS a nicotine dosage issue, as I have tested this with other JC flavours that do come in different dosages.

9 to 11mg allows me to vape as often as I would smoke without any ill effects, and that is what I want to be able to do. I actually enjoy the habit, just not the analogs themselves.
