I use the original crown daily. Good flavor and it can chuck clouds.

Take the advice above on juicing the wick. I normally don't juice the outside holes just the top side portion of the cotton. Close the air holes and fill. I normally let it sit for about 10 minutes after filling and start at 30 watts for 2-3 quick pulls and go up 5 watts or as many as 10 watts and 2-3 more quick pulls before bumping the wattage up again. With the .5 ohm coils I find that 56 watts or so is a good place to be.

I would invest in a couple of RBAs for it because they pay for themselves. Coils last for months and easy to wick. As long as you have a good showing of cotton at the juice holes you won't have any problems with leaks.

So herb do you think I would be better off getting the crown original or the crown 2? The crown 2 is actually cheaper right now because it's on a special sale at my local shop it's only 16.99

Sorry for late response , if you intend to vape at wattages above 40 watts the Crown II is a fantastic pick , it shines , the flavor is outstanding, airflow is outstanding and no leaks.

Most online shops sell it for $25.00 + even today . When you open up the round can it comes in make sure it has an authentic sticker on the lid and make sure it has the lime green colored O rings on the heads .

The lime green colored O ring head that came with it lasted me over 3 weeks of heavy vaping , it comes with two i believe. Make sure you prime the heads really well before applying power for the first time .

I don't think the Kanger Subtanks offer as good a vape as the Crown.
If you really want to vape at 60w, the issue is maybe more complicated. I don't see the Subtanks getting up to 60w but then again I've only vaped one tank at 60w and it was a cheap Eleaf tank taken off the iJust2.

My vaping stops well short of 50w although I have vaped at much higher for interest.

Yeah, it's real hard to make a stable 30 watt+ build on a subtank mini for me. Not enough airflow, not enough room to get the coil big enough for me. Granted that some others will have done miracles, but generally, the thing is limited to 25 watts as an RTA.

Agreed , good tank for low wattage vaping .

I like MTL, flavour-chasing vaping, and with the tanks I use like the Flash-e-Vapor v3, Taifun GT2 v2, Kayfun v3+ and the Bellus (in single-coil mode, AFC shut 90% off) - I make coils in the 0.6-1.2 Ohm range, and never exceed around 25W or so.

With the amount of vapour my setups generate at these 'low' powers - I really question peoples' seeming need to vape at what seem to me to be ridiculously high wattages - I know that thicker wire and fancy coils can need a lot of power, but at the end of the day, there's only *so* much vapour one can inhale. ;)

Ok so I bought my crown tank and a tobacco juice with a hint of fruit but what's weird is in the store when I tested the tobacco flavor on their unit I got mostly tobacco with a hint of fruit but on mine with the crown I'm getting almost all fruit and no tobacco, is there anything I can adjust? I've played with the wattage, even tried changing temp but still get just fruit, thinking maybe they weren't using a sub ohm like mine but not sure

So I just want to say thank you to everyone for your advice and help. I'm really loving this crown tank. No leaking and flavors are amazing using the .5 dual coil, and I'm learning to adjust my wattage for different juices. One juice was great at 50 watts another is just an explosion of flavor at 80 watts, I'm really impressed and I've learned im a direct lung hitter so this is perfect for me. I was really worried I was going to have to go back to smoking because vaping wasn't doing it for me but now I know I'm never going back to cigs ever again.

I was still having some issues with enjoying the taste of certain juices and still having cravings but that's all gone now. My local store has a supplier that sells them natural extracted tobacco ejuice and it is amazing. The flavor is great and I get that buzz like I used to get from cigarettes that I wasn't getting from my other juices. Definitely my all day vape from now on. And no more cravings at all, in fact it's ruined me from ever wanting an analog again. Best discovery I could have ever made. Only drawback is the juice seems to produce less vapor even with higher vg but that's a trade off I can live with.

Oh and I wanted to mention one thing that might help someone in the future. With the crown tank I was getting very large hits with a lot of vapor which I wasn't used to and it was making me cough a lot but running a much lower wattage or simply using bypass mode there is no more coughing, and the flavor is better so I may not be chucking clouds but it does it's job well and keeps me from wanting a real cig so it's all good. I may ramp the wattage back up from time to time and see if i can adapt to the bigger hits and not cough so much but either way it's all good.

If it was freshly made juice the tobacco flavor may take time to develop
