you got me thinking.... your builds are so innovative and you have all this dank gear ... who inspired you when you were starting out building coils? does Skywalker Dex have an Obi Wan or Yoda that he learned from?

Hey brotha there are tons of old school people who inspired me to build. I just wanted to share more of different types of builds to everyone so they have a different choice. I love the typical dual, quads microcoil eta but I have built so many of them I needed to challenge myself. Please follow me here facebook.com/deedupdex or instagram.com/deedupdex because I update those first. Also send me a friends request so I can add and follow you back! And please if you have any questions I am here to help any way I can. I am trying to get more people in ecf to check out my builds but everyone seem to just stick to the other threads. So I really appreciate you being here brotha!

I actually don't use Facebook at all. I do follow you on Instagram that's where I first saw your builds. Someone reposted a build you did and since you put your name on the photo itself I was able to find your IG page. My IG account is the same name here, Brennan4x4.

I'm going to shop around some local B&M shops for some thick 22ga wire and try my hand at these extensions. I have 100ft of 28ga and 50ft of .8x.1 ribbon but I don't think I want to buy that much of 22ga for extensions so hopefully I can find a B&M and just pick up a couple feet to try it out.

Would you recommend 22ga for extensions if I'm using 28ga for the coils?

Yes 22ga is fine! Just wondering where did they repost that old picture at? Was it in one of these threads on ecf? Thanks

It was re-posted on Instagram. One of those community vape pages, it was "vape_army" they posted your #15 build.

edit: actually it looks like they've re-posted a lot of your stuff. they're giving you credit too not trying to steal or w/e

Hmmm. I could really put one of those to good use/abuse. You think they'd mail one to Texas for me? lol

That kayfun with the six shooter build inspired me to build half of it horizontal in my taifun. Figured you might like to see it. BTW this was not easy by any means but it was fun and rewarding. Bottom 2 are 5-wrap, top is 4-wrap, 28 gauge, 1.5mm id, one wire @ 2.0 ohms. Firing it off a regulated mod because its got the wicking ability to handle serious wattage. :)

Most def I believe they will work with you just ask them how you could get one. If not I might start making them too!
That kayfun was just a request from someone. It got hot but this one you made is very nice! It looks good too and very good work brotha I hope you keep posting here so I can see them. Any builds are welcome. And I am glad you came by.

Quad fence build with positive and negative extensions. 22ga extension and 26ga "coils" well not really coils. The diamond patterns are made with one solid piece of kanthal. So originally I said I was going to make the fence build a series of 3 builds. After the headaches this one gave me, there were just so many parameters that had to be taken in account for it to work perfectly. Even after all the adjustments from the sneak peek build. This was the best I could do. I have one wire being very stubborn as shown on the top right that would not get the full potential of the split quad voltage/amprage. Maybe I will venture out into the fence thing in the future but I could not leave you guys hanging without any sort of build. But stay in tune for the fire vid for this thing because it def rips! It's not perfect but it was def a fun build and a good try. I will post the fire vid tonight so come back and check it out. Thanks for the patience guys and stay in tune for another vapelyfe hybrid build!

PS: clear cap just shows clearance, Fire Video tonight so come back!!

Hello brotha! Thanks for dropping by. This vapes very well with 7/64 or 1/8th holes. The cotton keeps it cool and it absorbs every single bit of liquid. I make builds that are different and very functional! Check out the first page! I will post a firing video of this tonight. you can also follow my page at facebook.com/deedupdex Thanks once again!

Hey bro saw you got the atty holder at the switch, I'm assuming you're a sd local?
You ever do wick and wire Wednesday there?
I've wanted to hit one up for a while...
Amazing builds, do you have any out-of-the-box builds for the omega?

I'm actually from the bayarea but the switch helped me out on it! Thank you for the comment. I used to have an omega but I will get another soon. Never got to post pictures back then.

Swap from a quad to a dual to a single in seconds. Rock what you feel that day. Don't throw your perfectly good coil away because you want to try something new. 3 different "frames" for a quick swap on your rda. One is a quad, a dual and a single. I haven't had any time to build this week so I thought I'd share something I have been doing when experimenting with diff coils. I try to minimize build time because when I build most of the time don't have enough time. When I make coils I just simply bend the legs into a "V" or "Λ" shape so I could just pop it in the posts really quick for a quick test fire. I made 3 different frames that you can swap from a quad to a single in seconds. This might be helpful to some of you builders out there. Some not. But to those who can use this, a couple of notes are: 1) Always open up the "V" or "Λ" prior to mounting to maximize contact pressure and security inside the posts. 2) Never torch the "V" or "Λ" which goes into the posts. 3) Clear the post holes from any liquid with a quick blow. This was very helpful to me back when I was building on an Omega and have just revisited it with this Vapelyfe hybrid w/ no post holes. I have rocked them like these many times with no post screws as long as you adjusted your frame to be secured prior to mount. Anyway hope this helps some builders out there. Stay tuned as I have tons more of ideas to build after the meet this Sunday!

No way... That's an awesome idea. No huge performance drop with "snap in" coils?

Hey brotha thanks for dropping by! I found as long as your leads into the post has the right amount of pressure and the posts are clear of any liquid, It fired up good! This was just an idea I shared for builders who consistently remove and test coils. Def not for everyone but to others it could help! I have other builds coming soon please come check them out soon!!!

Hey Brother, just looking at your snap-in idea, would that work with using higher resistance or twisted "legs" as leads that sit in the the post holes and just twist your leads around the bigger legs for test firing?

Sorry if I missed it, its been a long day.
