I've actually been thinking recently about starting up something next year for Birthdays. There's some things I need to work out in the software, but I'd sure like to do it!

His birthday is October 6 (as is mine ) He usually has a site-wide discount on that day. (Of course, I can't guarantee he'll do that again.)


Deej, Minty makes me nuts. You dropped Peppermint Taffy but kept Peppermint. You dropped Honey Lemon Peppermint Drops but kept Honey Lemon Menthol Drops. And Shade Menthol isn't there.
Are "Cinnamon" & "Clove" the only flavord unique to that category? If so, I'm just going to start ignoring it.

(And why is Oba Oba alphabetized after Violet Candy?)

Peppermint Taffy (et al) is not the same item in the inventory as the FireKitty'd version. Because there was no way to force ZenCart to do the 50% discount across all sizes, I have to duplicate and modify every flavor that gets FireKitty'd. It's a bit of work. I'll get those linked back shortly.

And I have no idea about the Oba Oba and Violet Candy... hmmm...

Cinnamon, Clove, Menthol, Menthol Blast, Peppermint, and Spearmint are the only flavors that are "native" to the Minty Category. All the others are "reflected" from other categories.

I just figure out when I'm missing a flavor on my list by checking how many are in the category. But I know you have them cross-referenced to help people who are looking for a type of flavor find them.

For myself, I know how to find Taffy, ARC and Tiramisu already.

(Other than the mint-mess, ButterPaw Crunch is Peanut Butter & Sweetness; Champagne is Champagne and Other Drinks; salt Water Taffy is Taffy & Sweetness and I think that's it.)

That's nice as you seem to be one of the few vendors who is actually familiar with the order the letters appear in the alphabet.
(With obvious exceptions like putting the menthol tobaccos at the end of the Minty list to facilitate things for people.) And you can even put them in the correct order within words. That is a very nice talent.

So far I've found 5 of the new flavors. There's a new category called "Creaminess." I guess Deej found an acceptable cream flavor.

Everything is about making it easier for the consumer -- and should be.
Besides, "Other Beverages" would look silly if it were hanging out by itself. It needs to immediately follow a beverage category.

If you are looking for a York Peppermint Patty/Junior Mint flavor, may I recommend Peppermint Taffy plus Chocolate Taffy. I tend to combine them randomly in my Vivi Nova and the ratio determines which mint it will taste like. (ETA: Deej will combine them for you if you ask him to. He will ask for a ratio, however. I like them alone and together so I don't get them pre-mixed.)

hmmm... not sure how well the cream I'm using will go with peppermint... or maybe a peppermint/spearmint combo...

I've had a "Creamy spearmint" before that was really good. Kind of refreshing and soothing at the same time. Was probably more like a vanilla cream spearmint. It didn't sound all that great to me, but after seeing many people rave about it I tried it. Would buy again.

I've definitely tasted popcorn before in some of your crusts. Will be nice to have them more prominently featured!
