They were quite chatty yesterday! Btw got my blast in and I must say I love the little jug! Very tasty and strong. I wanted to make sure the flavor scaled from sample to a more normal size. It did very well. Other places have failed me before lol. My next order will be for a lot more.

Side note I'm also loving apocalyptic strawberry lemonade!

Alcohol
In my family, the closest we get to alcoholism is someone who likes a glass of wine or a beer every night with dinner (and sometimes two.) That is not me. When I entered the publishing industry, it was still the days of 2-hour expense account lunches. My alcohol consumption at least tripled. There were times I had four or five drinks in a single month. But those days are gone. I might have had half a beer last year but I'm not sure.

Caffeine
Fairly recent for me -- about 15 years. I fill a beer stein with iced coffee when I get up and sip it for hours. I rarely have a second but some days I do have an iced decaf later.

Nicotine
Duh!

Recreational Drugs
Tried pot a few times in college. Not for me. I get a bit paranoid and there was enough paranoia in those days just hanging out with people who were smoking.

Sugar and Carbohydrates
This is the one that's going to kill me.

Tried it a couple times myself. It would hit me until hours later and, of course, I had no idea where I'd be or what I'd be doing. Totally didn't like that.

Geez, that's like night and day within a decade. I wonder if more work actually was done or just more money in the expense account for the executive's trips.

Smaller staffs, more work for those of us left. Expense account meals only for entertaining clients (which is fair.) Lost some networking which was good for staying on top of what was happening but I never used (or abused) it much. A sales person once saw my expense account for two months and said she spent that in a week. I said that if I spent what she did, I should be fired for bilking the company. If she spent what I did, she should be fired for not doing her job. Taking the people at agencies to lunch is part of their job.

Boo, 4 hours of sleep. But going to see Dad today so have to be out the door in 25 minutes.

Deej's liquids are very consistent. He is dependent on what his suppliers send, of course. Occasionally I have noticed a slight color difference compared to when the earlier bottle was new (they all darken over time), but the flavor doesn't vary.
