I know that when people were buying cigarettes online to save money, there were some sellers who used a service offered by… USPS? FedEx?… The first time they delivered, you had to give them photo ID showing that you were 18+. After that, an adult had to be home to accept delivery. A pain in the .... and it would probably raise shipping costs again, but better than not being able to get it.

I've had the post office leave insulin, needles and other meds in front of my apartment door. But, of course, they have to protect thieves from my 6mg nicotine e-liquid.

I remember some carriers doing that... I think they stopped because they didn't want the accountability.

Yeah of course the spigot may not dry up exactly come April. But depending on what the announcement is, you can bet both hardware and juice prices could go through the roof, not to mention possible availability issues as everyone tries to stock up on the price gouged remnants



I couldn't agree more. I started vaping more looking to save some money and find a new hobby. Next thing ya know I'm 2 weeks smoke free heading now onto my 1st full year.

But I do really enjoy vaping. Though I find myself often going long stretches without it. Been at 12mg for quite a while but rather than reducing the level I find myself vaping less.

I'd really miss it if it were to disappear completely.

Yeah...I smoked cloves for years. In sept 2009 they banned "flavored" cigarettes....everything but menthol (pretty sure menthol is a flavor). I couldn't believe it was happening. The spigot on those didn't dry up until the summer of 2010, at least here where I'm at. Any stores that still had them, were still selling them. Djarum skirted the ban by rolling them in tobacco paper with filters & called them clove cigars. I made due with them, but always seriously missed & longed for a real clove cigarette. Crazy thing is, a few months before I got on the e-cig kick, I came across a store selling real clove cigs! Couldn't believe it...not my old flavor, but authentic clove cigs, complete with a stamp from Indonesia on the pack. I bought a carton & just smoked them occasionally, trying to make them last. At some point, I bought a few more packs. I still have 5 packs of real cloves in the pantry! I've never smoked another clove "cigar", but in the beginning of vaping, I'd smoke a clove cig every once in a while, just to see if they still tasted as good as they used to...and they always did, but I've still never gone back. At some point last week, after probably 3 months of not revisiting them, I decided to say hello to the cloves for old times sake. They still tasted good, & I enjoyed it while I was doing it...but regretted it afterward...felt dirty, lol.

I guess what I'm saying is, I've kinda been through this before, when they banned my cloves...I got through it. Again, I just hope they don't pull plug on these...would be so unfair to so many who have found a better way.

So no one has tried both Bluwi and Blumel Caraberry?

I've tried skiwi and blumel caraberry, but not bluwi

for me, the kiwi is the stronger note in the skiwi, and the caramel is the stronger note in the blumel so they're not that similar to me...but i'd guess that the kiwi would be the top note for me in bluwi too....

I think the store was overly pessimistic.

I don't plan to close up shop, but I'll likely have to undergo some rather major revisions. It depends on what regs get promulgated. For example, I may end up selling to B&Ms only... so much depends...

I think Sonic is right on about the timing.

the earliest they'll post the proposed regs will be april, and there will be a comment period where we'll need to get really active (though we should be contacting our legislators right now to edumacate them, and then again with specific comments about whatever the proposed regs turn out to be)

I'd hope that there was a way you could still sell flavored 0mg liquid.

8mgs/ml is my happy place now, but i suspect i could go lower

BTW i also have a friend who has no trouble getting clove cigs. it's really slowing her switch to e-cigs

but, even as we find ways to continue to vape if the worst happens, i feel bad for all the people who might not have the opportunity.

My first bottle of e-juice was clove @ 28mg as well as a vanilla cupcake @ 18mg. I thought I HAD to have a clove flavor. It was nothing like my cigs...I added vanilla cupcake to it. It helped a little, but not much. I would reach for the clove when I felt like I wanted to choke someone, but didn't like the flavor much. The vanilla cupcake was great. I've since tried some other clove flavors...found one that's do-able, but I have to add sweetner to it. I honestly don't vape it very often. It was the vanilla cupcake that won me over....that and the allure of no more smoke, ashes, odors, burns, etc, etc, etc!

Now, I can't believe I smoked the same boring flavor day in & day out...for years & years on end. I only wish I had discovered e-cigs sooner!
