Anyone try Deej's new Cinnamon Roll
juice yet?
I've been eagerly awaiting the addition of that and similar flavors to the lineup. So of course I couldn't wait the usual steeping period when it arrived today.
Curious to see what others think, I may be falling victim to my weird tastebuds again. Hopefully it will come around after some steeping, but without steeping I'm getting a more lemony type flavor than cinnamon. It's weird it seems to have a decent sweetroll flavor off in the background that's actually pretty nice. But I'm getting a strong lemon type almost perfumey flavor in the foreground.
I'd really like a second opinion on this, first time I've ever had one that tasted this way. I've tried lots of others and even mixed my own with Capella flavoring. They were all pretty much reasonably close even prior to steeping.
Maybe the perfumey nature means I need to leave the lid off for a while to evaporate any alcohol, I'm sure some steeping would help too. But I just can't see the lemon becoming cinnamon through steeping though. I've been surprised in the past, maybe the "lemony" will become "raisiny"?
Plus a couple of others...two are due to me by Thursday.
