I'm starting to see a lot of orders come in with special delivery instructions.
I've been told that carriers are under no obligation to pay any attention to these.

the only delivery instructions i know about are "please, please, please bring it to my house as soon as possible" (though i think that one can require a signature)

well... it's made out of acrylic, and if you drop it on a hard surface it will sort of shatter...
What can I say? I got home feeling in a great mood and it quickly devolved into a grrr mood, so I had to go relaxicate.
