(Nevermind. He got it so he could use {MODERATED} flavored liquid so people will think he's smoking up in public. He's part of the reason legislation is cracking down on us. I'm really hurt and he acts like he could care less. What an )

If he enjoys getting stopped by the police, he picked the perfect way to make it happen.

Back when vaping was new, I remember a couple of posts from people who were pulled over because a cop thought they were using drugs. They did manage to explain, but at least one of them had his/her equipment confiscated anyway (just in case) and had to go to the police station to get it back.

My concern is that our community already fights ignorant masses of people who think "its still smoke" or "Its tobacco anyway you go" and the worst ones that already think we are doing drugs............behavior like he is wanting to show, I feel, will only lead to more confusion as to what we are doing when we vape. Causing MORE uproar from the ignorant......and eventually giving the media its hype and allowing the powers that be the upper hand.

That's one of my biggest fears. I often carry, back and forth to work, way more gear than is really necessary. If a "full haul" were ever to get confiscated, I'd be out some big bucks.

True.........but you'd hope someone you have called "friend" for 20+ years would care about your feelings towards something you care about...........(or at least grow the hell up a little.)

omg omg can't wait to get home from work tonight... I upgraded my internet service and want to try it out.

I was getting 10Mbps download and 2Mbps up. My new service is supposed 50 down and 25 up.

What I don't understand is if I went from 10/2 to 15/5 they wanted $25 more a month. But from 10/2 to 50/25 they only want $10 more per month? And the 1st month is free.

Only thing I can figure is the 15/5 (and 10/2) is the old "standard" FiOS. The 50/25 is one of their new "Quantum FiOS" packages. Sometimes companies offer incentives to move up to the newer technology since they may not want to maintain the older systems due to costs.

I'm not complaining! Suposedly (per email) the upgrade is already done.

Oh I definitely agree with you! But there's not much point in letting it grieve you too much ... especially if your friend doesn't "get it".

Oh.....he doesn't, and I'm past it. He has just shown me that he cares about only himself. Which should come as no surprise, actually.

And I can't get Fios. They won't wire a building in NYC unless the building guarantees x% will sign up.

Back when I got terminally fed up with Time Warner, I switched to Verizon "High Speed." I don't know how high the speed is because they refused to tell me. They'd say that I wouldn't notice slowdowns at popular times of day due to high volume on the line. I must have asked 5 times and got the same line each time. So I assume it's fairly low but I don't download a ton so I can tolerate it.
