Good morning, Pri! (Miss seeing you around!)

Good morning, DaleDear!

Good morning, Throttles! Red Sunrise is sorta like Mountain Dew Code Red. Sorta. :)

Good morning, CES!

Good morning, Sonic! A beautiful week indeed!

Good morning, Trav! (broken link on pic... assuming it's bacon-related based on Bmwmom's comment)

Good morning, Bmwmom! Mmmmm... bacon...

Speaking of bacon... has anybody tried this:

3-Pack Canned Bacon w/ P-38 Millitary Can opener ★10+yr Shelf Life ★Pre-Cooked ★: Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food

I grabbed some because I have a heck of a time keeping bacon on-hand without it spoiling...

It is SURPRISINGLY good!! And they fit a LOT of bacon in those cans!

(I get it by the case now...)

It says "pre-cooked", and it is, but I like to cook it a bit more... I like cripsy bacon! :) Crispy bacon is good too, but cripsy bacon is best...

Wow...hadn't seen that. I usually buy the precooked in the packets.

But, uh, hey...that'd make a great birthday present for somebody....

:D

It really is good... I use it on BLTs, salads (it crumbles nicely when it's cripsy) and I love my BLTs with a side of bacon strips...

The only "problem" is that once you open the can, you need to use it up in a day or two... 72 slices (as I recall) about 6" long. Not hard to work through, though... unless you're a baconophobe....

ETA: 1st saw it at the preparedness site I go to: www.thereadystore.com Cheaper from Amazon.

I buy pre-cooked bacon all the time. It doesn't need to be refrigerated until opened and sits in my cupboard for weeks if not a month or more.

I used to buy Butterball's pre-cooked turkey bacon until my grocery store stopped carrying it. Now I'm stuck buying store brand pre-cooked bacon (regular bacon).

They come in basically a plastic bag in a flat cardboard box. 15 slices to the package. It also is on the more chewy side rather than crisp. I'm thinking that makes it A) Easier to pack and handle. And B) Makes it seem like you're getting more (size / weight).

Not sure if it's any more economical than your cans, but may be more convenient. Most major grocery chains have their own brand as well as national brands. I usually find it on the end of some aisle. Nowhere near the meats or refrigerated areas.

I've tried the store-brand pre-cooked, and have nothing to say against it. I just sorta like the cans better, considering how much I loves me the bacon... :)

Mail is late today. Of course. Expecting vape mail from deej, FT, and also my Ipsy bag.

Does Caramel Cappuccino Cheesecake need to stoop, or can I have it for lunch? :D

    It's a low-density flavor-base... 2 days stoopage is sufficient!

I need to get a Zero Bar... I know I've had one before, but I don't recall what it tastes like.

    (I did notice... that's why I'm sad I don't have it... yet... )
