I work for an attraction in NC called "Mountain of Terror". We are ranked one of the Top 5 "Haunted Attractions" in the state of North Carolina. We have underground tunnel systems, a quater mile walk thru the backwoods of NC country, a covered bridge, a Haunted Cabin, a HUGE maze and a "Slide of Terror". It takes about 40 minutes to go thru the entire show.

We have somewhere near 50-55 actors.........ALL of which are "generic" frighteners, EXCEPT ME!! I'm the only "well known" (movie type) madman on scene. Last year I was Jason (same one you see in my avatar) and it was a hit. This year I wanted to do something LOUD, FRIGHTENING, and just plain CRAZY..............so I became LEATHERFACE!!

I'll be entertaining people at the covered bridge this year. Last year I was the final guy of the show helming the end of the maze and the "Slide of Terror".

I also like warming the crowd up by chasing them thru the waiting area before showtime.

I think he's a portent to the upcoming apocalypse.

On the bright side, I think he'd make a good firekitty.

We have something like that here. It's right over the border of PA. It's called Rich's Fright Farm. It's a pretty big deal in these parts. I never knew anyone who actually 'acted' in them though. I went a few years while I was in college and was pretty freaked out. I am sure if I went now, I would probably have a heart attack or pee my pants. LOL The clown room was always scary for me. They start out as a hayride, then go to a maze with like 7 or 8 different Michael Myers' and he was always the way you went. LOL then there was a trail to get to the haunted mansion...and 2 stories of the haunted mansion. It was some pretty scary stuff. They do a good job. :)

Google "Hollywood Horror Show" in Snow Camp, NC. My dream is to work for these guys one day. The Starr Brothers own and operate it. They are a professional FX team that have done multi-million dollar movies such as Freddy vs Jason and all the Pirates of the Caribbean. THAT is the place to go!! Rated #1 in the state for the last 20 years.

Looked even weirder in the viewfinder. Must've got lucky and hit just the right angle. Most pics I got of him, both eyes seem to glow greenish.

You live near a Pet Semitary?

    OMG reported!

    :D

    :p
    My first reaction, too. :D

Scary Slasher! I've never seen the movies of which you speak and it's still scary. (Don't like blood & guts -- prefer stuff like Hitchcock.)

Back to wallet shopping. I LOVE my wallet. It's bright red so I can find it anywhere in the apartment. It's leather with a faux croc imprint so I can find it in my purse by touch. It's very well made so it has lasted 5 or 6 years despite the fact that Poeia hates it and attacks it whenever she gets the chance. I knew it was dying so I've been casually looking on eBay and Amazon. Last night the billfold divider came loose so the looking has become "not casual." If I could find the same thing again, I'd willingly double what I'm planning to spend but it looks like I'll have to forgo the textured exterior. :(

NC really? General area? Cause I would love to come to that this year if it's halfway close!

Just Googled it. Looks awesome. Probably a tad far for us though. :-(
