Aw man, Dave! That sucks that y'all have a cold! That's SO not fun!

I don't want to add any additional stress to what you've already got going on, but if I do start carrying the wire, are there other things I should seek out to go along with it?

I know if you sold pre rolled mesh wicks Chim and I would buy them all from you lol neither of us have had much luck rolling our own.

Maybe some sterile cotton for wicks maybe even some ekowool.

I guess everything for building coils lol I'd even buy all my silica from you if you sold it. It would be nice to have a 1 stop shop for juice and wick and coil building. Right now I buy it all from different places

Some 3mm Ekowool would suit most people's needs in the string dept. And for the Genesis type users some 400x400 and / or 500x500 stainless steel mesh. Between this and the Kanthal wire you'd probably be able to cover up to 85% of the standard "rebuilder's" needs.

Not so much for the "cutting edge" or "experimenters", their stuff is usually a little more rare anyway and changes quickly. Mostly found from direct manufacturers who don't even market to vapers. Though some, once they realized the market was there, have begun pursuing the market.

Pre-made mesh coils are just as prone to hot spots as self made. So I don't really see a benefit there, ya just gotta learn to fix them. Even if they were tested before shipping, some wire movement would occur during shipping and installation.

You can get 50 pre-made string coils for just under $10 from Fasttech if you wanna be lazy. But then again you're dealing with unknown materials. Possibly fiberglass string with NiChrome wire (cheapest stuff available).

Pre-made Ekowool with Kanthal ribbon wire coils would be about the best you could hope for in that area. But unless you've got a sweatshop full of Kitties, I doubt there'd be much of a profit margin.

The easiest way to sort, since there's only one column, is to highlight the column and pick sort from the drop down at the top of the column.

Sorry I'm not helping this week. A little nutsier than on most Wednesdays.

True. So far, I've had to add that info 12 times because it keeps being removed. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I would be in for buying some flat ribbon Kanthal and Ecowool, if you carried it. I don't have a Genny but a lot of people do so mesh would be a good idea. And of course round Kanthal in maybe three sizes (28,30,32) would probably sell. The only other things that I could think of would be those little screw drivers and those atty seats that you screw your atty into, but those might sell slowly.

I don't know if you were referencing Slim but I think that he was talking about those pre-rolled SS mesh wicks. Not the full pre-wrapped coil and wicks. I think that the people who sell those roll the wicks themselves though, so it could be a PITA. Not sure though.

Yeah I was referring to Slim's post but I assumed he meant the complete wick and wire coil. In my experience with the mesh / Geni types, it wasn't the rolling up of the mesh that was the hard part. But rather getting the wire wrapped around it without hot spots.

About the only benefit I'd see from having the mesh pre-rolled would maybe be uniformity? But then you'd also have to offer them in different thicknesses.

Definitely with ya on the last part. Those selling any type pre-made wicks are more than likely not the ones making them.

Yeah I was talking about pre rolled mesh wicks. I can wrap a mean coil on just about anything I've tried but I can't seem to roll a wick to save my life

okay... so... if anybody knows a wholesale supplier of wicking...

There is a local guy that sells ekowool on eBay, I could get in touch with him if you'd like

Hey Deej & Friends! Hope everyone is well!
