So this might be a silly question or inside joke or something, but Deej are you a fan of The Hunger Games?

dunno if you'd call me a fan. I watched the movie a couple days ago (finally). Some of the imagery was very well done, and I could see the premise of it actually happening

I really enjoyed the movie, for what it is, and thought Katniss was really good.

Yeah. The movie left out a lot of important info IMO and also changed some things from the book. That's Hollywood for you I guess!

Love the books (Deej - add to your list! :) )... I thought the movie did rather well, considering it has to be pared down to 2 hours. Book definitely is more fun in the details and other sub-plots.

You need to start getting online earlier. :p

Would that I could, but work keeps getting in the way. They have ECF blocked on their network (in addition to anything else remotely social), and it's difficult to login on my tablet much (have it tied to my phone via hotspot to get around their block! :D ).

Hunger Games trilogy purchased and downloading. :)

You won't be disappointed. The books are better than the movie. As most book before movie combos are.

The movie was directed and cut down well enough but they cut out a bunch of interesting stuff. I think they captured the oppression pretty well but the books make you feel the dread of the people living in the districts. Of course the fighting and intensity in the game itself are much better when you are reading it and imagining it. Like how the Tracker Jackers were freaky in the book. In the movie... meh not so much.
