I've considered watching Once Upon a Time. I think Robert Carlyle is a superb actor. But I have too much history with JMo (Jennifer Morrison.) Can't watch it because I know she can't act.

I thought she did pretty well the first season and I enjoyed the show throughout the season.

I'm only 3 episodes in to season 2 and not liking it as much. I'm seeing (I think) some of what you mention also not liking the storyline nearly as much.

Not sure if both issues are real or if one is a symptom or cause of the other. Regardless, there needs to be some major plot twist or shake up very soon if it's going to stay on my list.

Unemployment called me today with some questions and answered a few for me.

I will be getting enough to cover my bills including car payments with a little left over each month for things like ejuice. :w00t:

What a relief!

May be a little tight at first, but once my severance comes and the other checks become regular I should be fine!

Indeed. It's the "not knowing" that's the worst. Too many times in the past I'd be counting on one thing or another and mentally budgeting accordingly, only to have some bomb drop once everything was firmed up. Then end up having to do a major song and dance for my landlord trying to work out some sort of temporary deal structure.

Rent is the only place I ever had any real flexibility. Car insurance, phone bill, internet, none of them are going down and all are needed for job hunting. I could cut back a few very small items (Netflix, Spotify, etc) but they barely make a dent. So I'd end up paying a reduced rent while unemployed then make it up when I got a job.

So relieved that none of that will be necessary this time! (I'm sure my landlord will be too! )
