(I know sometimes I can appear to be overly stuck-up about the vendor-mention thing... but I pay for the privilege of having this thread, so I kinda don't want to advertise somebody else. I'll make exception for vendors that are primarily hardware oriented.)

On the Chuck thread (hardware only and gone *sob*), we used to get people all the time who would pick up on something like a battery discussion during a search, come over and start lecturing us on why the BB or GG was better than the Chuck.

I actually enjoy listening to that guy in the vid (Leonard Susskind). He takes his time on concepts that aren't intuitive.
The course he's teaching in that vid is for students who just want to learn some physics... it's an un-graded course, so instead of focusing on final exam stuff, he just tries to get the information across as best he can.

Only watched 1 episode so far but it's quite a bit different from the first 4 seasons. It's been so long, I'm gonna have to watch the last 2 episodes of season 4 (2 part finale) again to see if there's any sort of tie-over whatsoever.

Dunno how many of you have been around computers long enough to remember Apogee games. They had their time in the sun for sure.
If anyone's interested in a classic side scrolling, thumb busting, arcade space shootem up, Apogee's last release Stargunner is available for free download.
Looks like you have to create an account (free) with GOG, but don't worry they're legit. I've got an account and buy lots of discount games from them. Just opt out of the email spam if you don't want a weekly sales pitch.
