I can sign a little bit but we still could communicate very well. It's amazing how well they can sign and read lips.

A beautiful 1st day of Fall here in North Texas.... or as we like to call it, Slightly Cooler Summer. (Should be mid-80's today, but back to 90's by Tuesday! Wheeeee!)
Daleron - I can sign the letters of the alphabet...and thank you, and now. Maybe a couple of other words if I strain my brain. Kinda like w/Spanish for me....alphabet & a few words. Though with Spanish at least some words are similar to English. Signing, well... I don't have a lot of patience, and with ADD & all....

Yuck. Normally I wouldn't say that about the first day of any season. But when you feel uncertain regarding your immediate future, calendar milestones passing by seem to help reinforce the feeling.
Kind of like seeing a commercial on TV that has some sort of release date. Like a new season of a TV show or a new movie, being advertised for some date a couple months or more off into the future. It makes you wonder what your situation will be at that time.
But anyway, GOOD MORNING everyone!!
If you're looking for a little mental palette cleanser Vudu's 99 cent movie of the day looks pretty good. Sometimes a little lighthearted and very silly slapstick humor is just what the soul needs.
It's got underdogs beating the odds, sports, some boy meets girl, and... Kung Fu! What more could you want?
I'm a big fan of the movie Kung Fu Hustle and this seems to be right along the same vein in movie genres (if you can call it that).
Available to rent today only for 99 cents, but you can wait up to 30 days to watch it.
Edit: Well duh... After a couple internet clicks I find out both movies were directed by Stephen Chow. The soccer one precedes Kung Fu Hustle.

I read a bio of Helen Keller when I was around 10 and they had the ASL alphabet in the back. I still know that so I can spell out words, s…l…o…w…l…y.
