Whoever was looking for the wicking material, the eBay guy must have caught up on his orders. It's back to the normal price again.
This is definitely what I would call higher end wicking material (price wise) so it may end up not being cheaper than buying replacement heads. But it's not like it's outrageous either.
Still waiting to get my hands on mine to try it (had to have it sent to GF's house). But from what I've been reading it provides superior wicking, flavor, and vapor, and is also washable / re-useable to some extent.
Single cotton yarn strand inside of silica braid
Double cotton yarn strand inside of silica braid
Good for Pro tanks, evods, T3's, just about anything with string wicks.
Oh yeah, as far as re-using. I don't mean take it apart and clean, then re-assemble. It's more like how some people clean and re-use their Chinese heads.
Once you've re-wicked the head and used it for a while, you can clean and re-use it as many times as it still works. Some boil their heads, some just rinse in hot water and dry burn them, some soak them in alcohol or put them in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. Whatever works for you.
