Whenever I type the word forum, I feel like such a wuss for surrendering to the tyranny of Microsoft spell checker. The plural of medium is media. The plural of forum is fora. But, whenever you type it in word, it changes it to "for a." I now use "forums."
I hate spell checker now with a passion. I think it has to do more with the auto fill part that is all the rage at Microsoft. If it underlines a misspelled word I am fine with that. Everyone mistypes and should be noticed that they mistyped a word. But when the software thinks that it is smarter than me and changes words to what it thinks I mean, that is a very annoying problem.
My biggest problem is in the Excel that I use at work. I make a birthday mailing list of customers in our retail system and export it. Then I go back through the list and change the first name of the person who's birthday it is to make it a bit more personal. Excel apparently doesn't like birthdays, or at least letting me work fast in a text based speadsheet. Example: If I change the name from Tom & Diane to Tom by simply typing in the name Tom. Excel says nope you meant the Tom & Sue that is in a different row I'll change that for you since you couldn't have typed Tom right. So after every single name change I have to click off the cell. Very annoying. I can't turn it off because the computer and program are used by other people.
I just wish that computer programs didn't think that we are all inferior and stupid compared to them.
:End Rant:
Anyway, what is Snail Tails? Sounds sexy. Slow but sexy.
ADD: Deej, I've been too busy recently to do it but I will try to make some more
juice pictures for you tomorrow.
