I rarely go above 5 volts or 10 watts anyway, so it would probably be fine for me....
Trav, the MVP2 for $39 is a good deal. Just a few more dollars than a twist . Other than the button location, and the slightly narrow voltage range, I'm liking mine so far.

Yeah good point. The MVP's been out for a while and only ever really had nitpicky or cosmetic gripes to my knowledge. The V2 was meant as an improvement addressing many if not all of the minor issues.additional: VTRs have been out for about 2.5 months, and you can already find 'em for half-price... a good indication that maybe there's something wonky about 'em.
Good morning
Trav, The limit with the MVP that messes with me is that I sometimes want to go below 6 watts![]()

If anything happens between you two between now and Christmas, I believe I should still be on Santa's "good" list.I ordered the MVP v2 for mine and my hubby's christmas presents. Ha. He doesn't know. I wrapped them, and he is giving mine to me and I am giving his to him. The suspense of waiting to try it is killer!
A bizarre instrument combining a piano and cello has finally been played to an audience more than 500 years after it was dreamt up Leonardo da Vinci.
Da Vinci, the Italian Renaissance genius who painted the Mona Lisa, invented the ‘‘viola organista’’ – which looks like a baby grand piano – but never built it, experts say.
The viola organista has now come to life, thanks to a Polish concert pianist with a flair for instrument-making and the patience and passion to interpret da Vinci’s plans.
Full of steel strings and spinning wheels, Slawomir Zubrzycki’s creation is a musical and mechanical work of art.
‘‘This instrument has the characteristics of three we know: the harpsichord, the organ and the viola da gamba,’’ Zubrzycki said as he debuted the instrument at the Academy of Music in the southern Polish city of Krakow.
