Great news, just got my shipment in and the VV ego's are indeed genuine Joye! Glad I took a chance and went back & ordered 2 more the next day!
Got my MVP2 also. Seems so far like it's going to fit just fine in my preferred voltage / power range. Was a little concerned after seeing Phil Busardo's review. As long as it can do dual coil cartomizers to the warmth and flavor I've become accustomed to, It'll be fine.
It's possible I got some sort of tweaked / updated version than the one Phil reviewed. I say this mainly because the settings navigation is a good bit different than what was shown in his review.
I can deal with the weight, it's not too bad at all since I was going more for table top than shirt pocket. What I was really interested in was the form factor and the built in battery.
