Actually, it was an accident involving a wet staircase last year, and we didn't know that the neck was technically broken until late May of this year when I saw the surgeon about fusing my low back (same fall) & found out it was pretty well crushed. it seems tht the less pain you have the more damage there is. Whoda thunk it.![]()
I wouldn't of thunk it but I guess it makes sense -- damage prevents the pain signals from getting through to your brain. Under the circumstances, you are very lucky that you didn't jar it between the accident and the diagnosis.
