yep, everyone is different. I like a warm vape, and no longer like menthols or most mints. (deej's chocolate mint is pretty good, but just for a change. It's pretty close to a york peppermint patty, or oreo cookies with mint chocolate chip ice cream, good for a treat but not an all day vape for me).

I hadn't heard about the viv novas cracking- but interactions of some alcohols and triacetin (as above) with plastic cartomizers since they first came out. I'm a newbie to the vivi bandwagon, but figured i'd try them...i didn't have much hope because the CE3-4 are such a fail for me.

I *think* that triacetin is not in all liquids, or in most even. Deej can answer better, but i think that it's used as a component in some flavors. I also *think* that the reaction with some plastics doesn't have much bearing on whether it's safe to vape or not.

I was talking safe for the tank. As in, in a VG base liquid, it might be the possibility that it would be less likely to be in there. I really didnt know how to ask this question. LOL! Sorry it is so confusing.

hehehehehe,

i think that somewhere is a list of flavors that tend to crack tanks and old style clearos...and they've changed the plastics used for some of them to plastics that are less reactive. The only ones i remember for sure are wintergreen and cinnamon. Sorry I'm not more help.

(and blaming KT is perfectly fine with me :p )

Time for work. sigh. have a great day!

I have a very few flavors that use triacetin... they're all florals, and I note "not recommended for use in clear cartomizers" in the flavor description.

Triacetin doesn't blend well with VG based on some experimentation I did a while back. I mixed up some triacetin-based watermelon in a high-VG blend, and the triacetin separated out. I heard tell somebody figured out how to get it to blend, but I'm not sure how. Likely by adding alcohol to the mix.

I thought i remembered that you noted where you use triacetin, but didn't want to say so, since my memory can be.... intermittent...

(Sam's mix does not interact with the plastic in the CE4 clear carto i currently have- which is good, cause it's the only flavor i can taste with that carto )

Ok, really leaving now. :)
