Have you considered adding insurance as an option? Neither 1st Class nor Priority Mail are insured. I'd gladly pay an extra $1 to ensure that there is no cost to us for lost packages. And, if there is a cost to USPS, they might actually make an effort to find them. (Although I will always treasure the phone message telling me the result of their search for my August package wherein the lady read the last entry from the track & confirm to me.)

Of course, the only reason why people would pay the extra buck is if you become a harda$$ and only replace lost packages if they were insured.

Alternatively, you could raise shipping by $1 and automatically include insurance -- your choice as to whether you give the money to the post office to insure individual packages or self-insure, using the money to reimburse you for replacing packages the post office loses.

I like this thought. I think I'd go with the self-insure, since both the PO insurance and Stamps.com insurance require you to wait 30 days after acceptance before you file a claim. Then there's an additional delay while they try and wriggle out of it (that is an assumption... never really tried).

Let me look into that...

hrm... If I wanted to try a taffy, I'd prolly try Tahitian Vanilla or maybe Spearmint. But that's just me, who knows what's going on inside that crazy Fire Kitty's head.

Those are both good choices, but have you considered Raspberry Taffy? It's really good!

Vanilla's a very popular flavor, so if you went that route you'd probably be VERY busy LOL

Raspberry can be good. Not sure what would go better in a taffy, the tart real raspberry or a sweeter candy like raspberry.

One of my best early successful DiY's was a clone of the candy known as Razzles. "It's a candy! It's a gum!"
Basically Raspberry Bubblegum.
