I'm not too much into the spicy flavors. What I am thinking though is, if I could just get like the base of the sweet gingerbread without the ginger, then mix it with some of the NY cheese, I'd have a helluva cheese danish going. :D

I also sort of expected the "apple topping" of the Apple CC to have a little cinnamon. Who ever heard of an apple topping without cinnamon?

um... me. I'm not all that fond of apple-cinnamon.

I'll work up an apple-cinnamon, though.

Really? Apple & Cinnamon go together like PB&J, Laurel & Hardy, Baseball and hotdogs, crime and punishment, males & females, need I go on?

I remember as a kid sometimes having real homemade apple sauce, nice & chunky still warm with lots of cinnamon. Don't think you'll find many apple pie filling recipes with out it either.

LOL I googled "apple topping recipe" and the 1st four mention cinnamon right in the google hit.

But I did forget to mention the brown sugar. Though usually both are used, I could see it without cinnamon as long as it had the brown sugar.

I said I would work one up.

Unfortunately I'm used to working with real food and almost instictively know what goes well together. At least for my own likings.

What makes it tough for juice makers is that they can't just go off adding a pinch of this this and a dash of that. A lot of these artificial and chemically approximated flavors can either counteract, overpower, or even nullify one another. Then you add in the need for steeping and it becomes a real guessing game with lots of trial and error.

I've got a DiY flavoring that's pretty much an apple pie "all in one". It's got the apple, cinnamon, and crust, just needs a little sweetener (imo). I suppose I could try adding a drop or two of that to some of the NY CC just to see how it tastes.

Though for the most part, I'd rather buy pre-mixed juices. Don't really like the mess & hassle (and trial & error) of DiY. The DiY stuff I have is pretty much for when the apocalypse comes and we can no longer buy nicotine liquids.

Tiramisu seems pretty good too. Don't think I've ever had any real Tiramisu so dunno how good of a judge I can be. But I do know that I can individually distinguish just about all of the componenet flavors and together they taste pretty darn good!

Tiramisu is one of my all time favorites!!!

Happy Sunday :)

Enjoy your visit Deej!!!

btw......I am doing real good.....work is slowing down a little and the adult kids seem to be behaving themselves somewhat
