5 flavor loads now?

Maybe I haven't been paying attention but I only remembered like 3.

Hrm... let's see... if I were to order Apocalyptic I could save a ton of money. Because I could then buy the cheapest carto's avaialble and it would still taste great!

I've been using 125% and it's more than made up for any carto issues I was having.

as i said before, trav, you're one of the lucky ones - well, i could be if deej were in driving range ............ sigh

instead, i'm still not sure what makes me react - flavorings, pg, vg, alcohol ............ :(

I avoid the aclohol ones altogether. To me they all seem like more of a scent than a flavor. I realize the majority of our flavor sensation comes from the nose but to me they all seem way too "perfumey". Once I let all of the alcohol evaporate, there's usually not much of a flavor left. At least with the ones I've tried in the past.

Yeah it's going to be tough to narrow down if you're sensitive to something even in small dosages. All I had to do was vape stuff that was "called" 100% VG for a few days to realize it was the PG. Though the so called 100% VG more than likely had some small level of PG in it.

It would really depend on the symptoms as to which ingredient I'd try to eliminate first.

Yeah something like that could possibly help in determining what ingredient may be the culprit. At least the symptoms should lessen some if it were a PG allergy. But if you still reacted at only 3% PG, I'd say you're in a world of hurt as far as being a vaper goes. Unless you don't mind unflavored VG with nicotine. eew

Edit: Though I have heard of some "working through it". Forcing their bodies to become accustomed to it and their symptoms diminishing over time.

Regular, Extra, Push, Nuclear & Apocalyptic

Actually, the way to test if it's a carrier causing the reaction would be to vape some unflavored that's 100% PG or VG (thinned with distilled water if needed), wait 24 hours then try the other one. Keep benadryl and maybe an epi pen handy.

You also don't want to do it in a basic atomizer because who knows what's in that primer fluid.

It would be harder to test for the flavoring. Probably find one or two that work for you and learn to DYI your liquid.

Finally got around to messing with my last order (told ya I still had plenty of juice). :D

The bad news, for some reason I got all child proof caps instead of standard. 3 out of 6 leaked. :(

The good news. thanks to those individual little ziploc bags Deej packs them in, all was contained and nothing even intermingled at all. :)

The great news, omg omg omg that Lemon Meringue pie is goo-OOD! Gotta admit my first thought was that the lemon tasted a little artificial, but my second thought was "so does the lemon flavor in just about every LM Pie I've ever tasted!" so it actually adds a level of realism.

I'm liking it a lot so far, the lemon, meringue, and crust are all balanced very nicely and the lemon itself is nicely balanced between sweet and tart. I'm thinking I may have jumped the gun on it just a little, so it may get even better with some more steeping.

Only new flavor I've tried so far. Don't like to have more than one kind of cheesecake going at a time, I'd rather savor them individually. Also waiting for some of my devices to get "freed up" and some lower ohm cartos for my twists.

I've only got 5 big batt VV / VW devices and they've all got a Deej juice on them. Then I've got the 3 VV Twists, and 2 of them got Deejstuff on them.

Not sure which to try next, maybe Oba Oba or one of the vanillas.

We finally figured out what's causing the leaks... micro-cracks in the neck that fail when subjected to pressure for a time. Not related to the caps at all.

I've switched to "emergency" 10ml bottles until I get my new shipment in, which should be on or before Wednesday.

As to which flavor to try next... let your mood be your guide... Oba Oba has a chocolate note. Hazelnut, too. Vanilla has a vanilla note. Haven't quite figured that one out yet... :p

Makes sense. Only my 10ml bottles leaked at all.

I'm really looking forward to announcing the new FireKitty Flavor of the Week...

I just know there's gonna be squeegasms galore...
NO! Please, no. I have 30 bottles of Deejstuff already.

BTW, mine were 15ml bottles this time just so ya know. I did have a 10ml sample leak from the order before that had a standard cap.

Was wondering is there any heating involved in your processing? I was thinking if they were capped warm and later flown by the post office at any sort of altitude, could be an internal pressure issue.

I do warm the VG to about 85*. There's about 15 minutes between adding VG and capping, so the temp would drop.

Not sure how a negative pressure in the bottle would lead to leakage, though. The bottles are capped at 5,000' altitude.

There is a need in the industry for better quality bottles. Even glass bottles will leak.

In other news: Felix Baumgartner is currently at 72,000' and climbing... coming up on his exit from the capsule to begin his freefall....
