Hi Fudgey

I remember 44D

Oddly enough, I sorta liked the flavor of it. Not enough to want to taste it more than a few times...

Probably because I associated the flavor with feeling better?

Oddly I do find myself reaching for it again and again. But it's no different than what I would do with any other different flavor I have tanked up. Often I'll hit the "completely different" in between the heavier sweet flavors as sort of a palette cleanser. But I wouldn't consider it to be anything worth the hype or hassle it takes to get.

(I bet they like Veterans better than they like veterinarians )

Veterinarians can sometimes bring relief.

While sad that I had to take Bunky back in early this morning, it's also like a pretty big burden being lifted. This whole last week was pure hell with him constantly in the back of my mind.

When I found him this morning he was in very bad shape. I'll spare you the physical description and go with mentally scared, distressed, and possibly a little confused. With nothing I could do to possibly make things any better for him. So I drove him to the vet for his final relief. RIP Bunky.

On a lighter note, the vet had 3 adorable pure black female kittens in a cage up front. Not sure how I managed to resist. (so far) :D

Having been in a similar situation, I know wherefrom you speak.

Good luck on resisting... I've heard it's futile. :D

I've often thought how great life would be without the expense of the pet supplies and the hassles of feeding, watering, and cleaning up after them.

But on the flipside, I can't imagine the thought of coming home to an empty apartment every night. They add so much in so many ways to your life IMO.

The vet's also got a 5 YO spayed female called Golden Nugget(?) that was on display during my first visit. I asked where she was this time and they're all like "Oh she's in the back!" and "She sure would fit nicely in that carrier of yours.".

Not sure what it will take but I'm sure I'll be taking the plunge again here soon.
