Do you have a magnetic stir bar retriever? It's basically a magnet on a handle or on a long plastic stick. It might let you use a bit larger stir bar even for smaller volumes
I never put the retriever IN the container, yuck- but it works nicely from outside too
yep... I have one of the stick ones. It doesn't work that great through the glass... another stir-bar works gangbusters, though!

oh... because tomorrow is cyber-monday, I'm re-enabling and extending the "I am thankful" code for another day or two.
In other news, next Sunday will mark the end of the FireKitty Flavor of the Week/Moment promotion. Need to make way for other fun things, and honestly, the FireKitty is getting rather fatigued.
Hmmmm....it better be fun for the lemon cheezcakez & lemon meringue pie! I'z jobless ya know!
I've been stalking those.... a-course I coulda missed it whilst stalking the strawberry cheezcakez.... Oh well, 11.22 is better than nothing.

Yay! Triple threat Monday!
So it's Monday (for me) and I wake up to giant wet white clumps falling from the sky. It's already doing a good job of making my parking lot white too. Now add in that the temps will be falling throughout the day instead of rising.
I can expect a nice mess out there by the time I have to leave for work and if it keeps up I'll be stranded at work forever!
Then again, I do have all my e cig stuff sent too work. And there's a backup generator and internets. If I take my kitty to work we could maybe survive a couple days I think.

I'm working up the energy to clean up. I ordered my new computer Sunday morning (1 AM) and it arrived yesterday (Monday.) (Okay, I put a note on the front door for the UPS guy to leave it with the management office or to re-deliver it today so he left it with my neighbor, but that's okay.) Now I have to pull out the desk, scrub and set it up.
And my 6-pack of yummy deejstuff has an expected delivery date of Thursday. Fingers crossed.

As you know (or even if you didn't know), Sunday is the last day of the FireKitty Flavor of the Moment. What I've been doing recently is turning 5 flavors on at a time, and turning off the oldest 6. That's all been done using a huge random number list.
For Sunday, though, I want to make it a bit different.
What 5 flavors do you want me to turn on come Sunday? Doesn't matter what Flavor... if you want it turned on, it goes on the list. Please only choose 5 flavors.
The Flavor with the highest number of "votes" will be turned on, followed the by the 2nd highest and so on. Until I turn on 5 flavors.
I'll turn them on around midnight my time on Saturday/Sunday, and then turn all the FireKitty flavors off around midnight my time Sunday/Monday. And that will mark the official end of the FireKitty Flavor of the Moment sale.
What's next? Stay tuned!
