(I'm not a fan of the child-proof caps, but they're "required" as the default capping)

Darn requirements. At least you give us the choice of which cap we want, as a lot of other suppliers don't. As a customer, I really appreciate the large amount of options that you give us. From flavor load to cap choice to glass/plastic bottle choice and even special requests. Most, except for glass bottles, are even no charge to us. That is one of the reasons that I will continue to buy from you in the future. The other main reason being that you are a masterful mix artist.
So thank you for thinking about your customers first. :toast:

Oh come on Poe take a bow!! :D
There was a conversation on things that should be on the label but Deej said he didn't see how he could fit anything else on. My 2¢ was that the constant stuff, like the warnings, could be once per package -- perhaps on the invoice. That's when Deej came up with the idea of putting them on the bags -- only possible because Deej packs each bottle in it's own bag.

Deej, I didn't have any leakage problem in my last two orders. I know you were having a problem with microcracks on some bottle necks so I assumed you had gotten in replacements for them.

Wow you're tastebuds may be even more in line with mine than I thought.

I once got a sample from a vendor with a Carto order, but based on the name of the juice I had no idea what the flavor was suppposed to be. It was crisp, clean refreshing, and definitely "greenish tasting". I really liked it, but for the life of me the only thing I could think of was (to me) it tasted like cold cucumbers with maybe a very light sprinkling of parmesan cheese.

I found out later that it was supposed to be an all natural watermelon with no colors added. Also turns out I wan't the only one to say it tasted like cucumber, there were a few others.

Now I'm just gonna have to try Deej's Watermelon and see if it tastes like that to me. I'd actually like it if it does. :D

If you haven't tried the Cantamelon, you should try it, too. I think you will like it!

My first order had couple bottles that were leaky, luckily deej has those cool little bottle bags. Since I live in higher altitude I'm used to leaky bottles but still don't like them. I think that it might be the child proof caps because my last few orders, I ordered them with the standard cap, have had no problems so far. You might consider switching to standard caps if your home life, i.e. no little kids, allows it.

I didn't have any leakage but they had standard cap on them.

Same here--in two orders, I got 34 different bottles and not a single one leaked. That's actually a pretty amazing feat! So, yeah, the standard caps are definitely better! (We only have a 20-year old at home, and he doesn't require much child-proofing!)

Without customers, I got nothing. :)

(I had to charge extra for the glass because they're WAY more expensive than plastic... and they also cost a lot more to pack and ship.)

The soft plastic was prone to that cracking. But the only way to detect the cracks was to cap the bottle, submerge it and squeeze. The time involved in doing that to each bottle cost more than replacing a leaking bottle.

The hard bottles are supposed to be more robust, but I suspect they might be failing at the nipple and/or cap seal (where there's a little nib that's supposed to seal the hole in the nipple).

I do try and make sure that the caps are screwed on tight... they're all screwed on by hand, though. I also try and remember to give the bottles a squeeze once they're capped, but after doing a lot of bottles there may be insufficient strength in my hands to do an effective job.

Got my big order today!! All I can say is I'm in love!! Awesome juice and fast shipping. So glad I ordered premixed along with the others so I can have yummy juice to use while I wait for the others. Thanks deejstuff!!

Yay!! :)

I think the standard caps are easier to mold than the childproof ones.

My 20-year-old has always been a little interested in my eye drops bottle (same shape, but white.) She's recently become interest in the e-liquid bottles. She just wants to pick them up by the cap but, obviously, I can't allow that. I pick them up and put them out of her reach. My 16-year-old shows no interest.

A bigger problem for me is that there is sometimes a little e-liquid on my desktop so I have to remember to wipe it off before either of them stand on it. I do worry that some might dry before I notice it.

For those of you who don't know me, both my children are parrots.

I think that kind of packing should be mandatory for juice suppliers. I just got my package in today. 7 out of the 11 bottles leaked pretty bad, some loosing about 1/3 of liquid. Thankfully because they were all in the little baggies, no juice got out of the package. I think I've been in the PO and over heard if a package leaks, they charge the mailer with damage fees.
Bummed I lost so much juice, but it could of been worse.

Something to keep in mind when considering how much leaked, a lot of these bottles actually hold more than the purchased amount. So even a "full" bottle will never be full to begin with. I don't know the exact amounts, but I believe the bottles used for 15ml can actually hold 18ml (or somewhere thereabouts). I think a 10ml bottle will hold around 12-13. So the only amount to really go by would be what's actually in the bag, not the empty space in the bottle.
Some vendors use bottles that will only hold the amount purchased / advertised. Other vendors will either sell it as an 18ml bottle or just fill the bottle calling the extra a bonus (though it's probably calculated into price anyway.

I've been lucky, in my last 3 orders (all non-childproof caps) I've had zero leaks.

Please Deej, whatever you do, don't switch over to the "nightmare bottles". I've gotten them in the past from other vendors, not sure how to properly describe them but they're a nightmare to get any juice out of. Regardless of size, you've got to squeeze like mad for 50/50, and I'm a big guy without arthritis.

The pinholes seem way too small and the pressure release / vacuum relief is terrible on them. Meaning I can squeeze some juice out to a point, then it stops. Normally I'd stop applying pressure let the vacuum suck in a little more air, then squeeze again. But on these bottles when you release the pressure they don't suck air back in. You have to turn them upright and wait for any juice to clear the air path before it will return to it's normal shape.

Basically trying to fill a 6ml tank can take several minutes of very hard squeezing. LOL

Nope. Poeia is 20 (hatched 9/18/92) and Annabella is 16 (hatched 9/26/96).

It could be the tips themselves. I bought some nice, flat bottles when I used to drip and I made sure I got "controlled" dropper tips -- they do about 1 drop per second. Now that I use a tank, I don't use them because I need "streaming" tips.

ETA: Try saving the tip from a bottle you liked and see if it fits securely in one you dislike.

No, I think she has a Macaw and a Conure. These can live between 50-100 years and 12-30 years respectively.
I definitely got Rickrolled while reading through that post though. 20 and 16 year old standing on the table, wha? Oooo I see now.

Completely agree. I'm not big by any means but I am a "young buck" that has good finger strength from years of gaming.
Those bottles however, are born from the fires of Mordor. They just don't move. I squeeze to the point that my hands shake and fingers hurt then let go and repeat 20 times to fill up a tank. Then my fingers are so sore I can't even push the button to vape.

Okay, maybe a bit of an exaggeration but not too far from the truth.

If I stick with Deej (and he sticks with his finger friendly bottles or something close to it) I won't have any bottles I dislike. Problem solved! :D

But no, these bottle's tips seem to be inserts where on the good bottles, the tips are more of a cap.

Wouldn't mind the hard squeezing so much if something actually came out!

Oh and I thought the same thing about a 16 & 20 getting up on the desktop.

So you know how dogs kinda jump up and play with you with their front feet? I had a horse do that today.... Interesting day lol.

Did you get him to roll over so you could rub his belly?
