LOL When I first checked it out I thought, hrm... if this pans out I'm gonna have to connect one of my PCs to the big screen TV in the bedroom. Something I was planning on doing soon anyway.

But I just tried to watch a show and amidst all the popup blocking, my anti-virus pops up saying it's cleaning threats. Not exactly my favorite type of website. :(

Heck I used to spend over $300 a month on cigs. That allows for a lot of vape toys & juice!

But now that I'm more settled in gear wise, and have found a good deal of great juices, I don't spend that much. Back when I was experimenting looking for the ultimate vape, I may have gone over a few times.

One of the best deals out there right now are the Vamo's. It's got all the features and functions you could need and I've seen them in the $30-$40 range. They may not be as pretty, but functionality-wise I'd put them up against a $150 Provari.

Then to really get the most of of a good mod, you need some good batteries. Snag a couple Panasonic CGR18650CH's. They cost a little more but have great current output (which is what's needed) over the life of the charge. I've seen them in the $7-$8 range on sale or if you find a place with a coupon code.

Then all ya need is a decent charger, $10-$15 on sale and your all set.

Slap on a nice 2-2.5ohm dual coil carto tank, and we're talkin vape-heaven. :D

Hope ya got more than one. Was it a genuine Joyetech?

5 of my 6 are Joyetechs and none have given me any trouble yet (knock on wood). I do plan on passing a couple on to a friend once I get the rest of the parts for their "starter kit" in.

I am unsure if they are or not. But it got some hay in the battery connector I was cleaning and trying to tap it out, then it just stopped working.

I still have one left, and I'll be getting a zmax clone thing from a Coop in maybe a month. Just don't know if I should pick another one up.

What browser are you using? I use chrome with adblock and no problems here....

In 2010 I spent $5.29 a day. In 2011 it was down to $1.96 but last year it went back to $4.55. I think it will drop again this year. I'm in good shape on devices -- I still have a couple of eGos for backup but I'm mostly using box mods. 14500s are a little frustrating because they need to be changed so often but I have plenty of batteries so it's easy enough. I got an Innokin MVP which I really like. (I avoid round mods now although I do still break out my Chucks out of love.) I have lots of Vivi Novas and a couple of mini VNs and enough replacement coils to last for a few months.

And, of course, I have enough DeejStuff to last for a while (except ARC and Peppermint Taffy -- those I might need to restock next month.)

I smoked so much at NYC prices that I've saved over $40k (net) in 3 years.

And now my one charger broke :'(

I had a similar problem until I double checked the pin/connection plate. I found on my egos it gets smashed in from over tighening and then wont fire/charge. All I do is pry it up a bit with a small flat head screw driver. Shouldn't have to do, but it works and saved me from buying replacements already.

OK time for bed for me...night all

Do try this because it's worked for many people.

Wow what's going on? Do we need to send over the intervention crew? :p

Was gonna say for the battery... If it just won't turn on after getting shorted out by a bad atty / carto (or even cleaning tool I guess), often you can reset the the short circuit protection circuitry by popping it into a charger.

However if it got shorted repeatedly or for an extended period of time, it could have discharged beyond the point of ever being able to take another charge.

Have you tried the charger with both batteries? If it fails with the one but works with the other, you got a bad battery. If it fails with both, try what Throttles said and then screw the battery in gently.

Edit: This place has chargers for $3. Doesn't hurt to have an extra at work & home at those prices.
