There goes Deej being Deej again.

Wassup everbuddy? Hope you're all having a good weekend.

Yeah Boni, Deej does seem to have a few flavorings I can't taste at all. I just avoid them once I know what they are. To me the Toffee has no smell or flavor whatsoever. But I'm wierd. I think Butterscotch might be another for me. I haven't vaped it yet but I can't smell anything in the bottle.

However, the majority of his flavors (to me) are awesome. I usually run @ 125%.

Just loaded up 2 new flavors and though the cartos aren't even broken in yet, they both have amazing potential. One is pineapple cheesecake. But it's a cheesecake, all of Deej's cheesecakes are fantastic.

The other is Forest Fruit. I just expected another sweet berry blend, like many of the others out there but boy was I wrong. Don't know how to describe it but it's got some amazing depth to it. I imagine it will only get better as the carto breaks in. Still trying to figure out what fruits are in it, I can taste some berry influence for sure. Overall it's much more than I expected.

I actually can't taste much except for the caramel and butterscotch flavors. They don't taste bad, just no flavor there. I am using 50/50 pg/vg, low res and apx 4.0 to 4.4. I just looked and I ordered all flavors at 125, fruits few from every catagory. I have the same problem with all vendors I have tried, but the other vendors have either an acceptable flavor or a bad, perfumy taste. Even if I can't taste DeeJ's flavors, they don't taste bad.

I just quit analogs jan 7th. On my 1st order i ordered all but carmel cappucino at 125 and the carmel cappucino i ordered at 150%. The carmal cappucino knocked me for a loop it was strong. No doubting the flavor in it. As for the 125% i ordered strawberry cheesecake, tiramisu, and RY4 @ 125. I could only taste the strawberry cheesecake at first. So i put it away and vaped some other stuff that was tolerable and the days my buds was behaving i went back to deej's stuff. The days they was really bad i vaped the stuff that if they was working i would never done cause they was nasty but since i wasnt tasting anything that day no reason to waste my good stuff. This last week has been a good week and has been my week of nothing but deej's stuff. Which also means i been loving the flavors and chain vaping. I would try a couple at 150 and a couple at 125 and see where ur buds r. I can say 1 thing i tried a bunch of vendors so far and deejs is the best flavor wise. And he has the best customer service out there.

Hmmm...
Sounds like the flavors that you are tasting are the stronger flavors. Since it happens with every vendor it is probably your taste buds adjusting and your higher volt/ lower res combo. Maybe try getting a few flavors that you already have and wanted to try at 175. Then if they are too strong you can mix in some of the 125 that you already have to mellow it out so you aren't wasting money. Or if it is good for you at 175 just order that from then on.

One of the things that is great about deejStuff is that you can change that flavor load to your personal liking and Deej doesn't even charge extra for that service.

Hope that helps a little. :)

well... I'm thinking that the best course of action for me at this moment is to take a hot shower, climb under excessive covers and try to shut down.

Many grams of ascorbic acid have been consumed, along with a liter or 3 of fluids over the past few hours... see y'all on the morrow!

okay...

so...

the new label stock arrived, and I've been tweaking things.

First, yes, they are MUCH easier to read.

Now... I have a choice to make, and I'm looking for input.

In order for these to work, I either have to reduce the point-size on the Flavor Name to 9pt, OR change the names of Bittersweet Tears of the Apocalypse and Caramel Cappuccino Cheesecake to Bitter Tears of the Apocalypse and CaraCapp Cheesecake (or something like that).

This is required because of 2 things:

(1) The flavor strength setting. If you go over 100% on either of those 2 flavors, the name won't fit on 1 line if the name is set to 10pt. I'm leaning toward changing the names, but can easily be swayed if anybody has a real objection.

(2) These labels are narrower than the other ones. Before you ask, I tried really hard to find wider labels at the same height. No joy. Even so, I always had to manually adjust the size on Bittersweet Tears... usually after wasting a bunch of labels because I forgot.

(how many vendors do you know of that ask stuff like this of their customers?)

This is why we love you so much...

I could make it CaraCappuccino Cheesecake... I think that would be short enough...

How about Caraccino Cheesecake?

well... I'm thinking that the best course of action for me at this moment is to take a hot shower, climb under excessive covers and try to shut down.

Take care of yourself, and feel better soon!

I agree with Dolphins. You really seem to bend over backward for us and make sure that we are happy. And I thank you for it.

I also think that you should just change the names. Since there aren't that many it would be easier for you and easier for those people with bad eyesight. Plus CaraCapp Cheesecake has a certain ring to it. Not to mention the slightly eviler sounding Bitter Tears of the Apocalypse. :)

I agree with the name change.

Is it bad that I'm sitting in a 75* room, wearing a heavy jacket, and shivering like crazy?

Yes, you need rest their good sir....and plenty of vitamin C.

Or I could actually name it CaraCrap Cheesecake and see if anybody notices...

If you do this I will have to buy a bottle for the just cause factor!

You really do need to try them at one level and then figure out from there. Some are better at lower loads, others at higher......now how to convince deej I would like more in my menthol blast

I have that down to a passive aggressive science. Except when I tried to quit smoking without vaping. People saw a new side of me then.

Nobody like a quitter Spud lol. I was the same way which is why I always went back to smoking

Good morning y'all

Hope things are ok Okiki

Deej, what if you leave the name of the flavor on the website, and add a note that it'll be abbreviated on the labels- or does that leave too much room for confusion? either way, do what you need to do with the names. thanks for asking!!! Hope you're feeling better today.

(btw, I read the 'CappAmel cheesecake' suggestion as camel, and thought of of a dromedary cheesecake  )
