I too had that with my last surgery. Necrotizing fasciitis, Not in my feet but in my tummy.
Look it up guys, you will know what he is dealing with.
I had to go into surgery again and have it al debried, then I was put on a wound vac for 3 months. It sucked
I too am diabetic and we just don't heal as well as others.
You have to take it easy now, especially with your feet...You know. I am still worried.
Hell with juice mixing, we all understand, PLEASEEEE take your time to heal. Hugs.

Yea what she said. My parents r diabetic and its nothing to mess around with. Follow dr orders very closely. We will all be here when u r better and ready

Dolphins -- I assume it was related to the lupus. Otherwise, I don't even want to think about how stomach tissue could get necrotic.
Deej -- let your insurance company pay for you to be in the hospital for a bit longer. If you go home a) you would sleep better in your own bed; b) you sister wouldn't have to go feed the cat and; c) there will be no temptation to go near the mixorium until you are better.

You are correct, that and diabetes. It was my incision site, it wouldn't heal and started Necrotizing

Glad to hear that everything went smoothly Deej. I agree with everyone else. Follow the doctors orders and stay off your feet while you heal. You wouldn't want anything else to happen while you are in the weakened state of recovery. Take it slow and your recovery should be speedy. Take care sir.
